This game runs like a turd in VR, you have to spend hours dialling the settings to get it running at a acceptable speed. 90% of my hours [6-7 hours] in this game are getting it running in VR and failing.

Also, With the announcement that EA ANTI CHEAT is being added at the Kernel level , theirs a major security risk in itself., NO i`m not a cheater, I just remember the last time another game developer had anti cheat running at the kernel level and what happened with them. MALWARE got in via the KERNEL ANTI CHEAT and RAT`s/Malware got installed and harvested your information. With the rise of Online Banking , etc ... THIS KERNEL ANTI CHEAT is a NO NO, if exploited.

I am requesting a refund for this. Whether or not i get it, is another reason. Besides i own this on XBOX Series X aswell, So i`ll be playing on that instead.

You play Ripleys daughter, Anna, in this game. You have to do things, evade aliens, robots and humans to complete the duties that have been assigned to you. This game is so immersive and scarey, its uncanny. You feel like you are really on the Nostromo. Also, When the Alien moves, breathes and hisses , you know some serious ♥♥♥♥ is going to go down !!

This game is best played in the Dark and with the Volume pretty high. Remove all pets and humans from the Play area before playing though. If your playing this and a cat decides to introduce itself to your lap, or a Child or Wife decides to come behind you and tap you on the shoulder. you will ♥♥♥♥ ya self. So, you have been warned !!! Beware though, you might need a change of underwear as you`ll probably soil ya self.

The Game itself is a excellent representation of the 1970`s version of the Alien Movie, with its authentic smokey enviroment, ship decals and aged paint. I recommend buying it on sale though , when you can get Alien: Isolation and all DLC for 50% of the origional price of the game when it was released or less.

VR Related Info and Mods:

If you have an Oculus Rift (VR) i recommend getting the MotherVR MOD by @nibre_ at https://github.com/Nibre/MotherVR/releases/ . This VR mod, brings the game into a whole new level of immersion and terror. With terror comes nausea, as you can be naucious after 30+ mins as the locomotion on the turning is pretty severe with this #MotherVR mod, i used Beta v0.030, as that was only available at the time. If you dont use the #MotherVR mod , you will have a whale of a time, you`ll be scared stiff. You have been warned.

Their a numerous mods for Alien: Isolation that will make the alien more fiesty and dangerous , give you unlimited ammo , Make the game more eyecandy friendly, Remove the alien from the Game (who wants that ???), etc , etc.

I wish i could give a NEUTRAL on this game as I wanted to like this game, The tutorial is very informative, however each tutorial section is somewhere on a wall, before you enter an Arena.
Their are a lot bugs, you cant pick weapons up of tables , climbing walls is troublesome.

I waited 5 minutes to join a game. I joined and their was a bot about 5 seconds away from me, it already had a weapon.. BANG , i was dead.. How could a bot get a weapon before i joined a match ??? I thought, must be some sort of glitch. I joined another match, managed to get a little furthur, running for cover.. Dead. Same thing happened. I was not impressed.

VR users can only play with VR users, They cant play with NON VR users for some reason. Dont ask me why not , as if they could play with non-vr users their would have been a higher population of players. When i did get a match with 3 other VR users , we all agreed to go easy as we all were new to this game. We explored for a bit , untill some bots joined and then it all went DOOM FRAGTASTIC.. We humans died against bots, inside of 4-5 minutes.

Ingame Hands were pretty skewered when holding weapons and they wasnt aligned up properly with Oculus touch controllers. You moved using your Oculus Thumbsticks in what direction you wanted to go. The Game levels are pretty huge and boring. Their is lots of weapons through out the levels.


I must give this a DO NOT BUY recommendation for the bugs, problems and since the Developers have pulled the plug on the game servers from August 1st 2018 and game has not been updated in ages. Player population is non-existant in VR.
This game had potential to become a great VR shooter but it fell short because of the bugs and lack of playerbase.

Beer `n` Skittles VR is a pub based game made by a little Indie game studio called " Black Poodle Entertainment ". This game is best played with your friends or relatives when you all want to have some beer, fun and laughs or streamed on twitch or youtube to viewers for the lolz. (I should know, as i have Streamed it for viewers for the fun factor on twitch).


This game reminds me of the good old days, when parents (MINE) took their kids (ME+SISTER) into the Beer gardens in Pubs in the UK on a nice hot day with relatives and played skittles with a Ball. This game alters that somewhat, You do this from inside a Public Bar and instead of using a Ball, you use a Empty Beer bottle from the Virtual Pub table to knock over empty bottles, placed on the floor infront of you. This isn`t as easy as your think !!!

You try and score 100 points with the least amount of throws of your empty bottles. If you go over 100 points, your score is reduced by 50 percent. The object of the game is to get 100 points with the least amount of throws. The 1st person who gets to 100 points is the winner !!!

The developer has implemented lots of things from when this game was released from Steam Community Suggestions. I know more things will be added in due course. The developer has done a excellent job for his 1st ever game and i commend him. They have added lots of items since its been released. One of them was Oculus Rift Support (thank you), Leaderboards , etc.


This is curently on sale for under $1, Its a BARGAIN in my Book, YOU CANT GO WRONG !!!!
I give this a 9/10 !!! Value is 10 , Playability is 8 , LOL factor is 9.

I have been playing this since it just before hit retail in 2014. I was playing on a 3
Monitor setup until late July 2017 when Oculous had a sale and decided to buy it from their..
BUT 5-6 Weeks wait to get the Rift Delivered from Oculous, so ordered from Amazon for the
same price £399.99 and i had it in my hands the next day, thanks Amazon !!!

I brought ELITE DANGEROUS from the Frontier Store in 2014. When you buy it (ED) from Steam you will have to make a Frontier account, You will also get the weekly Elite Dangerous GALNET newsletter sent by Email (BUT you can opt out of that, if you so wish). You will get 1 Steam key for Elite Dangerous with Horizons or without (what ever you brought). You will also get a Oculous Store key for your chosen Elite Dangerous Edition. This can be found in the 3rd party keys section on your Frontier account on their website. Just go into the Oculous Home application and click on the cog on the right hand top of the window, before the minimise icon. You navigate to the REDEEM CODE and input the Oculous code you got from the 3rd party keys section on the frontier site and Elite Dangerous is added to your games list. You choose where you want to install Elite Dangerous and let it do its thing.

After install you start up the game from within Oculous or Steam and the launcher will appear, you will have a verification code sent to your email account that you signed up for with the Frontier account. Email Normally takes seconds to appear but sometimes can take up to 15 mins!! Just input this code into the launcher and press ENTER. Boom, Game will now start up !!


The VR experience is WOW, OMG!! You feel like your are really in the ship and in the Pilots seat. You really, really, really need a FLIGHT STICK to play Elite Dangerous to its full potential. Voice attack on the PC used with a HCS Voice Pack, will help you out no end as you can automate tasks by speaking outloud what you want to do and it will be done. As a example , " Lights ". I say that and VA will press the button for lights and lights are switched on or off.

Their is a STEEP learning curve with Elite Dangerous. So I would suggest you go to Youtube and watch some videos or hop on to Twitch and paroose the Elite Dangerous streamers list. Anything with " [SOV] " or " Sovereignty " in the title will answer any questions you have. They will give you HONEST answers and help you with advice in Elite Dangerous.

You start out in a side winder with 100 credits. FIRST THING YOU DO, BUY a FUEL SCOOP, Or when you run out of fuel you will explode and be back to square one !!!! Theirs a group of Commanders in game called the FUEL RATS (Google " Fuel Rats "), If you even run out of fuel, CALL THEM. They will come and fill you up with fuel.

You then start to do missions from the missions console in the space station to earn credits to buy bigger ships. You can EXPLORE, MINE, TRADE, BOUNTY HUNT or do Normal space missions to earn in game credits. Their are 400 Billion stars to explore, or become a Trader (Space Trucker) Hauling items from station to station. You can mine at planetary dust rings (think Saturn) to collect minerals, etc, that you can sell to a station for ingame credits. You can Bounty Hunt, Basicly, you kill people who are WANTED to collect their bounty vouchers for Credits.

Theirs a easy way to make money when starting out, You go to a RES Mining Site which the police are in (NOT HAZARDOUS, NO POLICE) and follow them about. They will target and hunt down the WANTED NPC`s. Stick to the Police like GLUE and shoot ONLY the ships they are firing on. DO NOT SHOOT THE POLICE, you have been WARNED !! You MUST get a shot on Target within the last 10-15 Seconds for the WANTED Bounty voucher to be awarded to you. You redeem this back at most stations. Easy Peasy !!

I have thousands of hours in Elite Dangerous, Before this game appeared on steam or occulous. Currently it only shows 200`ish hours. Hope this review helps you in deciding if this game is worth it.

First things first " Dirt 4 is NOT Dirt Rally !!!! " This aims to be unbiased, impartial review.

Dirt 4 Review from someone with 526 hours in Dirt Rally, 16 hours in Dirt 4 and limited rallying experience. I was cautious when i saw the promo`s and read the media blurb and thought .. Do i , or Dont i , buy it ?? I brought it and 16 hours later this is the review below...


Dirt 4 can be played in 2 modes , ARCADE, with every assist and helper on or SIMULATION, which is supposed to a full on sim experience, In a way it is and it isnt owing to the Physics.

PHYSICS: Codemasters have improved upon Dirt Rally and made worse at the same time in Dirt 4. They seem to be like a cross between Dirt Rally v0.5-1.0 physics and Dirt 2-3 physics. Cars have more weight in that dept and are more squirly/twitchy under braking and over crests, jumps, etc. So you need to manage weight transfer and setup/position the car for the turn/road ahead as IRL rallying. Theirs way too much grip on the rear of the cars, even on AWD/4WD/RWD cars, compared to Dirt Rally. CM are supposed to be looking into rectifying this in a future update.

ARCADE should have current Dirt 4 physics and SIMULATION should have Dirt Rally V1.5-2.0 Physics. You get the normal rear car view (ARCADE MODE), incar and bumper cam views as per Dirt Rally. Default incar seating will need to be adjusted to your liking if you use drivers incar pov (I do) using the 4,1,5,2,6,3 keyboard/keypad buttons .

FFB: it`s no where near as good as Dirt Rally was in the FFB Dept, but even that had problems at release. Hopefully CM fix this problem. As for the cars , theirs not a lot of car talking through the FFB , compared to Dirt Rally.
WEATHER: This is a major graphical improvement over Dirt Rally, as theyre more severe and look so much nicer and clearer.
AUDIO/SOUND: This is a major improvment in the sounds of the cars and in general. Theyre so crisp and you can hear every single creak from the engine , brakes , suspension , etc.
GRAPHICS: Major improvement and downgrade at the same time in the gfx dept. Trees, Grass, Logs are not as nice. Cars and service area look nice and clear. You get to choose your setup from ULTRA LOW to ULTRA which alters all gfx settings to make game look much nicer.
MENU APPEARANCE: A major improvement over Dirt Rally, more clearer, cleaner and everything is so much easier to find.

CAREER, ONLINE, ETC: So much improvment since Dirt Rally. Where you start your career and go up through the rankings from 1-100 to get better sponsers , cars, mechanics , etc. Online rally mode, where you race against other racers on randomly generated stages, Like ghost mode without the ghost cars as your fellow racers. You still get the dailys, weeklys, Monthlys, Specials , etc . Just the leagues have yet to be implemented as of writing this review, But they are coming in the future.

RALLY SCHOOL, FREE ROAM: Gymkhana has been added from Dirt 3 to Dirt 4 and has been renamed to " Dirt Fish, Rally School". You get set driving tasks and how to learn to drive a rally car and knock over some cones, balls, etc.
YOUR STAGE: The jewel in Dirt 4`s crown , a infinate amount of stages that you can generate and race on and share with friends, according to CM. After a while you get to think , infinate stages... erm.. why are so many sections (Tiles) keep repeating, throughout different stages ?? Re: Spain .. Left 2 , Right 2 , Left 3 , Right 3 to name some.


RX, LANDRUSH, ETC BELOW
]RallyX: You get more RX stages, 5+, than with the 2, from Dirt Rally. RX in Dirt 4, is the same as Dirt Rally, so if you liked this in Dirt Rally, You will love this in Dirt 4. You get some nice old and new cars in RX. Some come from the Group B era.
LANDRUSH: This is the same as RX but in a stadium with Trucks , pickups , buggys , off road cars, etc.

I give this a 5/10 owing to the following difficulties in FFB, Grip and the Wonky physics. If you liked Dirt 2-3 then you will love Dirt 4. If you loved Dirt Rally, then you might/will struggle to get to grips with this game (I know i did and still am). I am still trying with this game but its hard going with the physics and the grip levels.

Dirt 4 has had a lot of negative reviews and refunds for this game. So, Take what i write with a pinch of salt , and decide on your own *IF* you think, this is worth you buying it after reading this review to pay full steam price or wait for it to be heavily discounted.

If your thinking about buying this, do your research first. Watch video`s from people who have not been paid or given free copies of Dirt 4 for pro buy biased reviews on youtube and on games websites.


SIDENOTE:

Twitch has a massive online gaming community, so why not pop buy the " Dirt 4 " streaming section to actually see proper people playing Dirt 4 and ask questions, You will find some really nice people and some not so nice people.

Game is OK , i loved it in ALPHA/BETA !

********BUT i give it 1/10 because of the DLC content they (The developers/publishers) want you to fork out extra money for.. DLC available from Release Date... WTF ... if you like getting screwed by Publishers/Developers then buy this game as if you buy everything you would have forked out a good $150 (£100) or more for all content. SO A DO NOT BUY FROM ME , UNLESS YOU TRUELY LIKE THE GAME AND HAVE BOTTOMLESS POCKETS!!!
