My Negative Review

I liked the game very much, but the positives are obvious to everyone, so I'm going to focus only on the negatives in this review, even though the positives prevail

-Insane amount of bugs, even 1 year after release. Some are game-breaking, like the elevator in Shar's temple insta-killing anyone who uses it or quest door items disappearing from inventory

-DnD mechanics: I honestly believe the game would have been much better if it didn't try to copy DnD gameplay and instead focused on something original, like Divinity. This is subjective, as I'm not a fan of DnD, but DnD is generally more about vibes and dialogue than combat, which doesn't translate well into games
Some mechanics feel unreasonably out of place. For example, stats like "Saving Throw: Wisdom" or "+1 to Athletics checks"—I still have no idea what these do, and the game didn’t explain them well if you haven’t played DnD

-Leveling is honestly frustrating. I played as a Ranger using a bow, and most level-ups did nothing. Literally nothing. Even in the late game, I still had only 1 useful skill (Hunter’s Mark). It’s disappointing to level up and only be rewarded with "HP increased from 65 to 73"

-Balance issues: This is a common issue in games with large worlds and variety, like Elden Ring or Zelda. Developers can’t balance the game properly for every class and playstyle. I played on Honor mode, but after Act 1, the game felt extremely easy because I chose the absolute side early and killed almost every NPC, leveling up too quickly. Not a single fight in Act 3 was challenging, which was disappointing

-Also, about the story and quests: I'm not a fan of story-driven games in general, so I didn’t really like it. But that’s probably just a personal preference, not a fault of the game itself, so I don't consider it a negative on the game's part

Great game. But Mario Party better

It's not souls like at all. Clunky gameplay, movement feels heavy. But still kinda fun. Especially bosses. They are fun and challenging. 7/10
