One of the best fighting games I've ever played,

But for the love of god the rollback update ruined the best part of the game. I can't even play with my friends anymore because everything breaks, AND we can't choose to use the old netcode that was bad but at least, worked.

Gaming's been in dire need of a proper obstacle course game for ages

This is everything I've ever wanted in one and more.

Soundtrack by itself is a 10/10

I'm going to lose my life to this game

This game is one of the prime examples of how gems can get hidden under the pile of triple-A titles, or really anything with any publicity. One Finger Death Punch is, very simply, amazing. While many might laugh at the simplicity they see on the surface, it has more depth and content than some games I've paid $60 or more for. At the surface, you clear stages by punching, brawling, shooting, blowing up, and impaling bad guys. Look a little further in, and you'll see around a dozen different modes that twist this format, including a Speed Round, where not only perfection and reflex are needed, but also a little bit of memorization of the most efficient click pattern. That, alongside a Thunderstorm mode, which colors out all the enemies, leaving you to look at the bars on the bottom for the right hit-patterns, and the god-mode Light Sword and Light Nunchaku rounds, which are some of the most fun I've had in a game in years. Not to mention the skill system which grants you amazing perks for longevity, ultility, or just to be even more of an offensive badass.

And what's the best part? It's only $5. This game is so cheap, that it deserves a purchase, and even if for some reason, you end up not liking it, well, you're only out $5. But, as if you wouldn't like this. If you enjoy fast-paced action, simplistic art, beautifully responsive controls, references galore, an actually challenging game, feeling like a god, or just having fun, this game deserves to be in your library. And if you don't? Well, then there's just no pleasing you, is there?

Anyways I'm done gushing, just get this game, it's cheaper than a mediocre 12" sandwich, and you'd enjoy this way, way more.

Got it as a gift from a friend.
Had it running in the background to farm cards.
Then I discovered its beautiful soundtrack of bad porn music.
He's my best friend now.
10/10 would farm again
