Low Profile But Experienced Player

Play with me just for fun. A lot of responsibilities are on my shoulders so now I'm more a casual player than I used to be. Please excuse me if from time to time I go afk for a maximun of 10 minutes. If I do is for a good reason.

Some bits about my player background:

- My first platform for gaming was a Sinclair Spectrum 48k: The storage from this computer was a cassette tape that you had to play it until end and with a bit of luck the game loaded. I cannot remember what was the 1st game that I played on this computer but I do remember I liked playing that much that the first time I did I didn't sleep that night and I was 8 years old. I guess I had a pretty tough time at school that day.

- 2nd platform was a QL: much faster loading but a very small catalog of games. Didn't play that much on this one than on Spectrum

- PC Intel Compat 8088: To this one I played a lot. I remember Monkey Island
and Maniac Mansion on those green Hercules Monitors. The speed loading of this computer was breathtaking, even faster than today's consoles! BTW didn't have a Hard Drive, it had a 3,5 inches floppy disk.

- PC Intel Compat 80386: Big frog leap in terms of gaming. The computing industry gave several steps forward towards the gaming direction and the VGA 256 color monitors became an standard. Sound cards really developed up and I had a computer that could speak! The day of the Tentacle was a very clear example of the next-gen videogames. Some good titles I played were Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Indiana Jones and the Fate Of Atlantis, Sam & Max Hit the Road, Street Fighter II, Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, Monkey Island II and so on! I really enjoyed playing this PC

- SEGA Master System: This was my 1st gaming console. I used to play Sonic the Hedgehog a lot and then the part 2, 3 and Sonic Chaos. Later on a lost a bit of interest on this saga and started playing other titles. I teached my 1 year old sister to play Sonic thanks to the simplicity of the controller and the character controls. The 1st word she learned to say was "SEGA" . The load of the games was instant. Literally. It used a cartdrige which technology is pretty similar to today's SSDs.

- SEGA Megadrive: I really enjoyed this console. Having Mortal Kombat and Samurai Showdown at home was extremelly cool!. Instant loading and the best of the best titles of that time. A really good console and very nice catalog.

- PC Compat 80486: Screen Resolution increased. There started to be Graphic Cards specially designed for gaming on the market. The game industry started to industrialize games and they started to look and feel what they are now. Doesn't mean it was bad. In fact really good titles were published. The fist game that I played on this computer was The Rise of the Triad.

- PC Intel Pentium: Same as before but faster computer in general, bigger HD and better graphics.

- PC Intel Pentium II: Another PC Compat but again bigger specs.

- PC Intel Pentium II: Same as before.

- Sony PlayStation: Can you imagine I was the 1st guy in town having this game console? I played Tekken day and night.

... I skip a few here ...

- Dell Inspiron 15R i5 8GB RAM 1TB SATA HDD ATI RADEON HD8740: Having the pleasure of using Steam and playing online.
