Demo was very fun.

On the plus side:
+ Basic game loop was engaging, it is different from many other RTSes, and asymmetry of technology vs monolithic creep felt fresh
+ Ability to freely control flow of time plays well to the overall dynamics of the game
+ Existence of different calyxes, that block each other is a nice (and exploitable, in a good way) mechanics
+ One can play the game at their own pace, without feeling rushed

On the negative:
- It is not clear what will provide longevity and replayability, as it stands right now, I would not play the game again until new content is included
- It doesn't really feel like there are many ways to approach the problem, you are essentially forced into a slow "push, reinforce" step by step through the map.
- while different calyxes interact, they do so in a basic way, but they do not really compete/fight with each other, and thus the world becomes static once it is covered in the alien goo
- controls are a bit clunky. Units sometimes refuse an order that they definitely can execute; repeatedly issuing the same order makes units stay in place instead of moving; some targets are also marked as "impossible" even though units can reach said destination by first clicking in a different spot

Amazing, unique gameplay, filled with hard, moral decisions. Definitely a game to remember!
