Had an amazing, amazing time with the demo. I'm quite surprised by how lengthy and fun the demo is. The level design is just immaculate. Definitely the best demo I played from Steam NextFest. The movement for combat is slightly janky, but it's not that big of deal. Buying the full game day one.

Good platforming system. That's all this game has.

It has no story. It has no good level design. It has no good combat. It has no good environment design.

I would recommend Ittle Dew if and only if you know what it is and whether it fits your taste or not.

TLDR: Very focused on puzzle, basic Zelda combat and traversal.

While Ittle Dew looks like a Zelda game, it's more of a puzzle game. The puzzles are simple but clever, and quite satisfying to solve. The hardest optional puzzle sets will have you wracking your brain out, it took me 3 hours to solve the entire thing. You can tackle the puzzles in any order you like, but due to how small and closed the world is, it does feel kind of linear. The combat is also very basic and poor, but fortunately it's not the focus of the game.

Oh, one more thing. The game does NOT have controller support. What kind of Zelda game doesn't have controller support, smh.

Melatonin is Rhythm Heaven with pastel colors and lo-fi song.

For me, the best rhythm games are those where you can play with your eyes closed just following the beat. And Melatonin easily falls into that category. Everything is just on point. Clean artwork, great music, and gameplay with nice variety that keep things fresh. It feels sooo good to react on the beat and have the game reward you with a "perfect" score.

The game has 21 levels that maybe you can clear in 2 hours if you're just trying to get the ending as fast as possible. But come on, why play rhythm game if you're not trying to get that high score.

9.8/10 game for me.

It's House Flipper but in space and with physics. Kinda lost it's novelty after 10-15 hours because the game doesn't give any additional tools or give more variety to the ships you're salvaging.

Great music, decent gameplay. A really good game to shoot demons and move your body to the beat.

The game has 11-ish metal music. Only 1 of them is a bore and at least 3 are giga bangers. That alone makes the game worth it. Plus, dashing around the arena and shooting guns in the game is pretty fun. And unlike BPM, the enemies are big and easy to shoot, making it much easier to just focusing on shooting along the beat.

Hextech Mayhem is more of a platformer with some rhythm game aspect than a rhythm game with platformer aspect.

For a platformer, it's poor because the movement is floaty and the level design is kinda boring.
For a rhythm game, it's poor because the music isn't at the forefront and the whole game isn't really readable for a rhythmic gameplay. The "optional notes" also doesn't sync well with the music.

Like a lot of game that tries 2 things at once, Hextech Mayhem didn't nail either things, so it's a "not recommended" from me.

Absolutely no explanation on how to play the game. I don't even know how to clean up the mop without searching on the internet.

Timelie is less of a puzzle game and more of Desperados but with rewind, aka trial and error.

For puzzle fans, I can't recommend this because maybe only 25% of the game are puzzles.
For stealth fans, I can't recommend this because figuring enemy rout via trial and error isn't fun.
For people looking for story, I can't recommend this because the story is only alluded to.

The last chapter is quite cool though, wish the whole game is more like that.

I really enjoyed my time with Ender Lilies.

The world is well designed. The art is gorgeous. The sound track is amazing. The RPG aspect is tuned pretty fine. The combat is fun and flows nicely. And the lore is both interesting and well-explained even through item and spell descriptions.

The combat might feels clunky at first, but that's because you only unlock the air dash ability after 3-4 hours of playtime.

I fully recommend Ender Lilies not just to Metroidvania fans, but any adventure game fans.
