Sometimes it feels like oppenent's juggle combo lasts for so long I could get some tea, watch a movie, take a walk - and it will still be going...

Its a walking simulator. All the "survival" elements are there to force you go places and enjoy the view in the process

This is a wave shooter. Stealth is completely optional, shooting waves of enemies is mandatory. Your success depends ONLY on how good you are at shooting moving targets. There are little to no strategy or teamwork in this game, whole "strategy" and "teamwork" is only about shooting things.

I wish it could offer more variations than just "stand on random spots and shoot waves of enemies"

Not only the game is SOLID, but the balls of the devs as well

Мне не понравилось.

Это не Экшн, потому что боевая система в ней - плохая, чисто для галочки. Ее называют РПГ, но ролеплей в общем-то отсутствует: ты не можешь отыгрывать разные роли. Тебя будут принудительно ставит на роль ведьмака с раздутым эго, который типа отец Цири (тебя старательно подталкивают к этой роли) и типа выбирает между двумя женщинами.

Здесь нет свободы действий, игра постоянно искусственно ставит тебя на рельсы, не давая никаких возможностей по-разному решать задачи/проблемы. И игра постоянно работает на накручивание эго игрока: "О! ТОТ САМЫЙ ведьмак!", все женщины тебя хотят, остальные - восхищаются тобой, и именно ты должен сделать очень важный выбор какой рукой НПС будет подтирать задницу - правой или левой. А эти смехотворные NPC-спутники? Изображают из себя крутейших магов планеты, которые во время боя лишь делают вид что атакуют мощнейшими супер-пупер-заклинаниями, которые - ХАХА! - наносят 0 урона. Ну потому что нельзя допустить, чтобы кто-то кроме игрока, справился с этом страшным и могучим комариком! Во многих случаях игра будет заставлять тебя делать выбор в ситуациях, когда по логике происходящего этого можно спокойно не делать и просто уйти.

Но если не обращать внимания на надписи "экшн", "рпг" - то становится понятно за что любят эту игру. Ведьмак 3 - это интерактивный киносериал. Абсолютно все в нем построено вокруг историй и катсцен. Каждый квест - это возможность посмотреть красиво срежиссированную заставку. И если относиться к игре именно как к киносериалу - с разветвлениями, но все же линейному - она превосходна: шикарные локации, стильные модели окружения и персонажи, офигенная архитектура городов, и огромное количество интересных и увлекательных мини-серий (квестов/историй).

While Lara's design was fresh and nice, visuals were technical achievement of the time and cinematography of some interactive scenes was good, gameplay is a standart console stupid and boring crap with button mashing, cheap drama, stupid AI, boring level design etc...

Somewhere deep below ♥♥♥♥♥♥ visuals, lame voice acting, bugs and glitches, questionable map and progression designs, crap battle system, dumb AI, weapon balancing and many more unpolished and half-baked things you can find parts of a very good game. A game that actually challenge you, where you can't do everything right and have to live with the consequences of your choices (seriously, don't save scum, live with the consequences, it IS actually fun here).

There are many ways of doing things, the variability of the game is awesome, every time I enjoy figuring out how the world will react to my actions (of lack of). This kind of stuff happened in old-school game design, W2 definetely feels like a successor of first two Fallouts.

But is really hard to enjoy it through all the crap and unpolished things it has
