Added about 25h of gameplay for me.

The puzzles are notably harder. This may be due to the thematic grouping of the puzzles in the base game. The puzzles in this DLC have more of a free form creative range as opposed to incremental variations upon each other in each section. Ultimately, you have to come up with a new solution every time rather than use a variation of what you just learned a minute ago. No new tools are added. (Not even bringing back the tools from the original game).

There is some story line that builds upon the base game and the voice acting is fantastic, but I couldn't be bothered to put much attention to it because the puzzles are so fun. I found myself wanting to just get onto the next one.

Well worth the price tag especially if you found yourself wanting more after finishing the base game.

The latest update has quietly added a feature which disables the game unless everybody has bought the DLC. This was not mentioned at all in the update notes and you cannot use steam beta to revert to the previous version.

This is the last straw ending this game for me. It's been buggy since day 1 but instead of fixing bugs they have decided to force people to pay more money to play. Good news is since the pandemic is over we can just play the actual board game again where only one person needs to own the expansions.

This game is so dumb. Recommended.

All sound effects completely cut out about 2/3 through the game. There are many apparent fixes but for most people none of them will work.

Started out uncomfortable to play but I changed my mind an hour or so in. It's like the video game version of 12 Monkeys.

This game is perfection. Pure gamer's game. If you haven't played yet, stop reading reviews because you can't really say much about the content of the game without spoiling it.

The entire game is based around learning how to play by observation. The catch is people like reading reviews before playing a game, but any knowledge you have before jumping in will spoil it, so it's destined to be a not very popular game. I'm sure the designer realized this before or during the development of The Witness but polished it to completion anyway. And he does this while spending his entire earnings from Braid. From this I get the sense that it's a real labour of love.

I got sad when I finished it, because I wished there was more. The extra non essential bits are actually a little tedious and finnicky in some places. Oh well still A+, best game I've played in ages.

Warning: WASD input is forced. Game is unplayable otherwise.
