One of the best games of the decade, already a classic amoungst the gaming community.
Look into some of the very simple mods you can get to make the experience better-
But do not be discouraged, as I had plenty of un-modded play-throughs with great experiences.

Interesting story, setting, gameplay, and action. Have fun!

Im neutral about rating this game. Well done but incredibly short. Finished it in 93 minutes. I think there are some things to extend the time, like getting collectables and getting the best time.

Throughout the game I thought there would be "that moment" when the difficulty hits up, but it never did. Most of it is puzzling but never challenging. Thankfully it never makes you feel angry or rageful.

If you're looking for a challenge, this game isn't for you. If you're looking for two hours to kill with a well-designed game, this is for you.

Despite appreciating the mechanics of the game, there were only lil moments of fun that I had in this.

Great balance of a silly and competitive game.

This game didnt hesitate on features, i think it thought of like everything to add in such as "hey you know what we need a way to take a duck's corpse and throw it at an enemy to disarm them"

One of the best multiplayer games that ive played and the custom maps are sometimes GOLD depending on who made them :P

Felt like your typical single player shooter, nothing as special as bioshock which had very scarce resources and selected play styles.

I'll compare it to Call of Duty's single player.

The story is pretty neat, and the whole world is actually great feeling. First bioshock had a better theme though.

CS:GO Review
This is my first CS game, and I was playing a ton of it over last summer.

The grudge I have with this game is the movement and accuracy. I don't get the purpose of the recoil system, there is a definite pattern with only some randomness for all automatic weapons. Meaning whoever just masters the pattern basically wins every 1 on 1 gun fight. Mess up the pattern and you'll lose even if you fired/saw the opponent first. I dont mind a game that breaks down winning vs losing to accuracy, but why the crap patterns? Although they arent that hard to learn, they just seem unnecessary and it took a lot of hours for me to get down the ak + m4 patterns.

Movement is strict, simply walking will render your accuracy to crap- at least with assault rifles. It's really slow to begin with, and a way around the inaccuracy is to stutter step so that you stop yourself with the opposite strafe to to reset your accuracy. The players somewhat slide on the ground so stutterstepping is essential for walk-stop-and shoot tactics.

I could see this purposeful for sniping but every gun forces you to stop.

Im pretty pleased with the gamemodes though, it's just these two things that made me quit csgo. Community isnt that bad, and the competitive scene is great. Enjoyed watching some events and betting of course.

Maybe ill get back into cs, but for now I dont recommend it. Maybe valve will alter the movement even more in the future.

Anyone who likes this type of movement/accuracy, this is the game for you.

Early Access Review
So far it's in pre-release, but it's showing a lot of potential and great content already. You never know what the game will hit you, or treat you, and it always makes a great new experience, or frustration.

If you're not attracted to this game, take a look at the planned features, or try it out again once the game is fully released.
