This the absolute king of procedural space exploration games. The gratification of discovery, the since of accomplishment by evolving your technology and space battles intense enough for the most skilled space pilots. After 8 years the updatws have advance the overall experience to another level. I feel that game should've won labor of love earlier, but I am only one earthling, but feel this second vote will bring this game the praise it deserves. They didn't just change the game, they altered the DNA of the space exploration genre.

Todd gutted the meat and taters out. The tons of storylines / side quests were replaced by helping settlers smart enough to build houses, gardens, waepons... but not smart enought to use them... Preston Garvey is an insult to the African American community. The glory of Fallout 3 was not taken into consideration as everything that made it great, was ignored (except finding a family member) and then chopped up and sold as dlc. I did have fun, but that came via the mod community. Todd himself mentioned that the Fallout IP was not a priority. They should hand the IP off to a studio that will care for it... like Obsidian. I can not in good conscience, recommend a game that isn't a top priority of the publisher. Unreal Engine 5 is needed moving forward for any future productions. Fin.

It's a classic beat em up, button mashing fun and a good reflection of HK culture in the time it was set.

This achieves the balance needed to expand the player base. I own all the Souls Game and waiting on Demon Souls Remake. I have never beat/finished a Souls game. Elden Ring balances sheer terror, intensity, death, repetitious soul crushing death, exploration and fun. I usually don't seek out information on games, but the content creators with-in the community have a great job of explaining what the game doesn't inform you of. It seems like my biggest hurtle was NOT running around like an idiot and gathering weapons and gear. The sense of accomplishment is unreal. This is the best game I have played to date. Now I can go back and finish the series. Post optimization the game is running fine on my crudbox. Elden Ring is the most refreshing game I have played in years. 10/10

I have waited a while for a game like this, the story is interesting enough to keep playing. Combat is decent, the atmosphere is what provides the immersion and it's on tap. 5120x2160 70+ FPS on a FX8370 & RX580. Grinding to upgrade ship, but there is satisfaction in doing so as the battles are rewarding. It delivers on satisfaction... 8/10. If you like space exploration in a simulation of freelance mercenary work, this game is for you.

Rockstar won't let me into my account, played just fine when purchased but for some reason it will not even detect RDR2 single player. I just reinstalled it and customer service is not apart of Rockstar's business model. It keeps trying get me to play online but #)&* that noise

Mech piloting done right. Graphics, mechanics, good (insane) story so far and top notch combat in a 20GB package. If you like Robotech, Gundam, Transformers etc, you should have a fun time. I'm glad I came across it and recommend it for all with a mech itch.

Big, dumb & fun!!!!
I payed $20 on sale. Best $20 EA ever took. Without micro-transactions Ea will never release a full game. They cut the story short, too damn lazy to have character move around the carrier leaving player to aim dot to load the next point and click interaction, unbalanced multi-player to further punish base for lack of micro-trans actions and reinforce the need for them (brain washing) despite having stat tracking and rankings (66% of balancing requirement), zero diversity in pilot options, the only Afro-american male rebel looks as if he was attacked by Al Sharpton's Stylist (4shame!!!), Graphics are INSANE (due to the vast emptiness of space =D). The mouse must have clamped down to sustain revenue streams, because there were just hints earthling drama... the very toxic behavior individuals play games to escape FROM.

Pros: I can play at 5K ultra on a FX8370 & RX580 21:9 ratio getting some of the best immersion I have ever experienced in any game ever (DUE TO THE VAST EMPTINESS OF SPACE).

Cons: Reread until you see the pros and stop.

Closing opinions, If ya half @$$ a game the prices should reflect the effort. Maxed out players in multi taking out their frustrations out on new players as a result of suffering from launch price buyers remorse in an environment designed to punish late adopters. But a big, dumb and fun Star Wars single player experience is worth $19.99. And I noticed the Origin DRM didn't pop before playing Squadrons. Hmmmmm, the mouse will find their lack profit margins disturbing.
