July 27, 1940 is when it all starts. You see, it the scene begins off with Elmer Fudd, a very iconic character from Looney Tunes, owned by Warner Brothers, in a forest type place, and you think “oh boy, I wonder what wacky hijinks he’s gonna get into” but then Elmer nails down a board. This is the time I went “Why’s he doing that? Is he trying to trick Bugs Bunny (also from the very popular Looney Tunes) like he usually does?” And he embarks the words “That’ll hold him alright.” and gives a little laugh. This part fills you with a bit of suspense. “That’ll hold who alright?”. Then, get this, he was trying to trick Bugs Bunny! You see Bugs Bunny and you go “Classic Bugs Bunny, always finding a way to get out of Elmer Fudd’s traps!” But this is where the magic happens. This is when the funniest thing of all time happens. Bugs Bunny mocks Elmer Fudd. He mocks him by saying the words he said. “That’ll hold him alright”. But as Bugs Bunny says this, he becomes very large. This is also a way of him mocking Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd is also large. That large Bugs Bunny that I’m talking about, was indeed Big Chungus. And as I saw that image of him I could not believe it. I laughed and laughed all night. I was actually crying, I couldn’t go to sleep. Big Chungus changed my life by showing me what humor is. Thank you, Big Chungus, thank you.
