GOD I LOVE BUSTING NODES

I have mixed feelings about Mouthwashing. I think its a very interesting game that falls apart in the last half, but I believe I'm in the minority on that opinion. I overall enjoyed my time with it but I think for the amount of game you get (I clocked in at about 2 hours even, including stepping away from my computer a couple of times), and the weak back half that $13 is a little too much. I dunno, I just felt a little disappointed when it came time for the credits to roll. Maybe wait for a sale.

Went into this not really expecting anything, it had been recommended by a dev I really enjoy. Have been blown away, combat is fun, progression feels good, visuals are nice, music and sound design is great. Totally worth the money.

I really want to recommend this game, but as of right now I just can't. The gameplay is fun, the weapons and abilities are interesting, the combat is frenetic, in theory this have everything I was looking for. The issue is the devs REFUSE to explain anything. I can understand trial by fire and a "figure it out" mentality but it is taken to an absurd degree here. There is SO MUCH that you HAVE to know to have a chance in this game, and the game explains maybe 10% of it. I can't even call the tutorial bare bones, it is more the suggestion of a tutorial. What does this item do? Who knows. What does this keyword mean? Who knows. What does this room I unlocked do. Who knows. I need at least a morsel of information. In Elden Ring for example, the devs left you to figure out a lot of stuff, but they explained the essentials. Im sick of bashing my head against a wall trying to figure out yet another cryptic one line description for a weapon or ability, I'm sick of major mechanics having no explanation. I'm hoping a pass through to clear up some of this confusion is on the road map.

Pretty fun, especially for the price. Feel like balance could be better but Im sure that will get adjusted.
