This game was worth it back then, however, since the changes and time. It's only worth to play on community servers rather than valves servers(competitive, death match etc)

Why you shouldn't

• Toxic Community
  People would insult you, harass and make your mood flip quickly from "fine" or "happy" into "depressed" or " question your own bloody existence" just because you killed somebody inside a video game.
  
  Don't believe me?
  This has went, so overboard that valve(the developers) needed to install a profanity system.
  As for back then, you could have passed with such nicknames "Big D*ck John" or "Horny Buffalo" into "Big **** John" and "***** Buffalo" - Yes, these were legit names before (To me, they were hilarious, however understand may disagree)
  
  This also applies to in game chat due to the amount of death threats, sexual harassment etc. And they have installed an "ban-mute" in which you can still play but be unable to communicate with your teammates in anyway (not in chat nor mic) I can't say if you get it forever or for a limited time because I never had to be reported or get banned for that issue. Thankfully.
  
  Don't get me wrong, it's good that valve added it.
  
  So, this just shows how this issue has grew through time. Certain people can find this an issue, others may not. It all depends on your view of this.
  
  
• Cheaters & Hackers
  This game is full of them, paid or not. I had 3 normal matches out of 10 which were completely disastrous. You don't need to play this game for a long period of time to understand if somebody is cheating or not.
  
  Seeing a person bunny hop and 360 head-shots all 5 teammates is enough to reconsidered a refund.
  It was just a single example. But usually they don't always use aim-bot only the risk takers but wall-hack is much more common.
  
  
• Paid or not.
  Even if you paid, you paid for literally the same game. Nothing special at all. You would still encounter cheaters, toxic people and etc. Plus, if you do regret purchasing it. You just simply incapable of refunding. Good luck.
  
  
• The game is Free but...
  
  As you play CSGO and get better a desire will appear of you wanting a bit of life into your weapons, knives and gloves. However, that's probably ain't going to happen unless you are willing to throw couple...wait..I mean....various dollars on a bloody coloured gun or a sparkly knife. I mean a lot of money depending on the value of the skin, so $50-100 for a skin while a knife will cost you a fortune or like your f*cking rent.
  
  
• The server and model system delay
  
  It might not be a big thing for others, however, I still believe this problem has been going on since couple of updates before. You can call this "neat picking" but it's still something that needs to be pointed out. If you know, you know. If you don't, well your best friend Internet browser or YouTube to the rescue.

Why you should play this

• it's Free
  
  I'm grateful for valve for letting others experience Counter Strike for those who are unable to pay for video-games. I was completely surprised when I heard this game went Free and was glad to welcome new individual into the CS community.
  
  
• Not all people are bad(especially in community servers)
  
  Yes, I talked about how toxic individuals are in this game but you can meet time to time hilarious and out-going people. You can create some awesome memories(currently not in valve servers but in community servers) Yes, you can literally hope on a community servers such as a mini-game and enjoy a classic old-school Counter strike, where the true community is.

These are my personal opinions in which you can reason with or ignore.
I had played CSGO for 7 years with my main and smurf account, however been apart of the CS Community for quite a while now since 1.6 to when surfing was a huge blow.
