Boring, decent but really mid

NetEase lays off Marvel Rivals' Seattle Developers

Extremely solid and fun metroidvania, almost cozy. It's a game you can pick up for 20m a day, make some progress and be satisfied.
Maybe a short game for some people but it felt like it ended when it needed to.
Lovely music, solid combat, interesting bosses and the narrative ends up being really wholesome.

Not a game, not even fun. Just a drag.

Beautiful game! First of all, the combat has dark souls traits but didn't feel exactly as a dark souls, not as difficult as one, maybe due to no stamina bar. You can love or hate it but I liked it. Also the movement is more in the alley of a 3D platformer, they know and made it also a 3D platformer and a good one!

The story resonated deeply with me, with dialogs hitting hard on the uncertanty of our lives and have a silly krilly sense of humour(if you know what I mean). It tells a lot through gameplay and game design.
This will be completely personal, never did I took as many screenshots of a game as I did this one for dialogs, scenery, and gags.

The music is really good, it never tires and it matches the levels fairly whale.
It has its bugs, but it was a fun buggy for me at least.

Its a game that tells us that whatever we do in our lives, we should never give a gun to a crab, as nothing could be deadlier.

I wish I had more, also the pants option is important

Before this review I'm going to say this: I understand.

This was one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking games I've played.
The music is lovely, the animations scenes are gorgeous, I seriously love the character designs, the story is compelling and makes me want to walltext about it, the gameplay is... not for everyone.

Does anyone remember the motorbike flash games? Like that but with a ton of s*** going on. It was not easy to get used to it, the controls felt weird and by the time I taught of changing something my muscle memory was already glued in place.
That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the gameplay, far from it, but I can see how I can be annoying.
I think its meant to be played in a semi-relaxed state, weird because of all of the shooting in between, but when you get used to the mechanics and enviroments, you can just enjoy the ride, hear the music, the sounds, the guts flying to your pockets...
It's a shame that the gameplay will be so divisive, the game was made with tons of love and dedication. It shows everywhere that the devs really loved their project and I love it too.

Try out the demo, if you can push through getting used to it I swear it's a game worthwhile
