Stepping into BioShock Remastered is like donning a damp, vintage tuxedo and crash-landing at an underwater Gatsby party where everyone’s gone deliciously mad. Rapture, the art deco fever dream, is still dripping with charm, paranoia, and a surprising number of homicidal citizens who can’t seem to get enough of plasmid-powered fireworks.

Would I kindly? Absolutely.

This game is proof that rats are nature’s little sociopaths. Just when you think you’re safe, they pop out of nowhere and ruin everything.

I booted this up expecting a cute little forest romp. Five minutes later, I’m emotionally attached to a child and being hunted by something that looks like a troll crossed with my sleep paralysis demon.

Visually? Gorgeous. Like a Studio Ghibli film fell into a vat of Scandinavian trauma.
Soundtrack? Haunting. Like lullabies sung by a ghost who regrets their life choices.
Gameplay? Mostly me running, hiding, and whispering “no no no nope nope nope” out loud.

The story is surprisingly touching. I left emotionally damaged but in a good way.

If you’ve ever been personally victimised by an unclean driveway, this game is for you. If you’ve ever felt an inexplicable rage toward an unsanitary food truck, this game is for you. If you seek inner peace without the hassle of real-life chores, this game is your enlightenment.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely.
