Before dwelling into this review, I quickly want to tap myself on the back for reviewing my first VR title. I also want to note that I played this in the HTC VIVE (the original black one, not later models). When I got the opportunity to review this game I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into, all I knew is that I couldn't wait to try it out, as from personal experience, games on VR are (usually) always good and worth it. This game is a blend of action and strategy that will certainly get you sweating, either with your movement or with its timed levels. I never played or hyped over portal but for some reason this game gives me portal vibes. You pass through various timed levels in which you turn 6 sided tubes to connect colors and charge batteries. What sounds easy and boring, is far from it! Totally unique game concept I haven't seen anywhere else, which obviously is way more exciting than its supposed to be due to being in VR.

This game uses a blend of bright and soothing colors with do well on the eye for a long gaming session (as this is VR, eyes can and do still get tired). I was amazed with every aspect of this game starting from the tutorial which guided you step by step on how and what to do. This is followed by being immersed into the first level and being put to the test, so to speak. In this way the game also continues. In that sense, the game is repetitive to an extent with the exceptions of levels getting more difficult and creative but the overall idea of what to do stays the same. The VR movement is very smooth as well, as I haven't noticed any glitches, bugs, hands inside objects or other polygon errors one encounters in a lot of VR games. It really felt as if you were really there, inside of the white room turning tubes trying to charge batteries. Big props to that, lots of VR struggle with that, as one bug or imperfection can already bring you back to the real world.

Lastly, the question of if I recommend this game or not, is clearly with a big yes. This game ranks on top of the best VR games I played, I was amazed by the game idea and how it turned out in practice. I have played a lot of games, VR and non VR where game ideas are similar if not the exact same. This doesnt ruin a game but it keeps the enjoyment it can give to a extent. However, with this game the concept I have never seen before. This already put a lasting impression on me. On top of that, this game runs perfectly smooth and is easy to get into. And lastly, you guessed it, its in VR! So go ahead and get this game, doesn't matter if you're new or already a long time user of VR.
