Way too long. I've played till Chapter 6 and it feels like I have aged a year. Apparently after this chapter there are 2 (!) epilogues where you shovel pig manure etc, you know, for storytelling reasons. Gameplay is meh at best, sucks most of the time. Almost every mission ends in a shooting gallery where you kill dozens of people. Now that's apparently a realistic depiction of outlaw life so you have loot/craft/whatever stuff 1 item at a time which takes painful amounts of time. Did I mention you need to ride your horse around for hours and hours just to trigger quests.

Rockstar really messed up this time.

Intriguing world. Interesting story. Florid writing.

This game is like an interactive book. And it tells a great story. Don't expect great combat or audivisual fidedlity. With this in mind you won't be disappointed.
