I think the idea for the game is great. Although it must have a bit more of optimization and improvement for how the game works. Also, I think the "mp3 player" option should work like in Audiosurf where you could select the files in-game, not needing to go out of the game to select it.

The pause menu feels a bit janky and confusing at first, and I noticed some FPS drops in the introduction stage. The way the weapons works for music like the Bass and Vocals feels a bit janky too.. like it's not synchronized properly.

Still a nice idea, I had a bit of fun in it.

this game makes you feel like that one prostitute screaming and running from Patrick Bateman, naked, and with a chainsaw in the corridors of some hotel

If you're in here you're either one of these: A) you probably played this game many years ago and is revisiting for nostalgia or B) you really don't know this game.

My recommendation for both? Just move on to something else.

Now please read this if you're the option B person.

This game doesn't have really much to offer. It's simple, you're a mice, you get the shaman's help to get the cheese or get it yourself. What does the game has after this then? A few gamemodes, a couple of events, but... actually not much to show. The game itself is just very old (and simple as I stated, with very much nothing to make you play more).

Customization: The game also has customization for your mice, but I'll tell you, it SUCKS. S U C K S, to get cosmetics on this game, because they are really, REALLY expensive. The game has 2 currencies, the cheese and the "fraises". The cheese is the free one, which you get by bringing the cheese back to spawn, you get one cheese per round and sometimes, in really rare occasions, you'll be able to get into some maps where you're able to get some more cheeses like 3 or 4 IDK. To get the fraises, however, you must pay for them, which makes paying for cosmetics much easier. Now a lot of people can't afford fraises or don't want to spend money, and have to stick with the ol' cheese. As I mentioned, you get one cheese per round, and since the cosmetics are expensive, you'll farm cheese very slowly. One of the cosmetics in the game are the furs, one of the furs present is a black one. It costs 6000 cheese, now remember what I said about getting cheese, which is a very slow method. You'll feel tempted to get fraises or try to get more cheeses, which takes a lot of time and is tiring to do so. If you try to like, get 100 cheese each day, you'll be able to get the black fur in 2 MONTHS. A black fur takes 2 months of your time. But let's assume you don't want the black fur one, you want another one. Good luck with that since the other ones are equal as expensive and will be taking a lot of your time, and since a lot of you are probably people with responsibilities or priorities, I just recommend walking away from it.

The community: The game doesn't have much players as it used to have years before. What you'll probably see will be a couple of new accounts, and a couple of old accounts that are from like 2011 and etc. This game has some cheaters, and the moderation doesn't make a good job with taking care of them. Also, for the new players, good luck handling the toxicity of some people. People may swear at you for not being good as shaman, since they depend on your work in some maps so they can get the cheese and win.

Is it fun to play?: I'll say no. It was fun when you played years before as a child when the simple things were fun, you would have friends by your side, you would play events, there were A LOT MORE gamemodes than today, it was really good. But now the game is just boring as hell. You can maybe like it some time here and there, have a good chuckle, but overall it's just go to point A to point B, and return from point B to A and get your precious cheese. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat... And repeat... All. Over. Again.

But what about the events?: THEY ARE BORING. THEY DON'T HAVE NOTHING MUCH. What they do is actually make a map where you're supposed to do something like collect items, so you can trade these items for tickets and you can trade tickets for some other items or things. Let me tell you this: All events have this same objective. All of them. It's the same thing, every year. I give credit for the maps art though, cause they are really well-drawn, but it doesn't make up for it.

Also, the devs of this game were planning to make another game with the Transformice name, naming it Transformice Adventures. It was supposed to be a RPG game with the elements of this game like the mices and the same artstyle, it had cool features and would be supposedly free. So they opened up a kickstarter aaaaaand.. They canceled it. Now the Steam page of the game only has "Coming soon!" in it's release date, though it's very unlikely they'll ever release it.

In my point of view this game just has little to nothing to offer you. It's pretty much dead. If you're a casual player you probably will like it or not. I still suggest you to move on and play something better, and mice related.

Is the game finally playable? Yes.
Is the game practically without bots and cheaters? Yes, for the most part.
Can you kiss your homies in the lips? No, you can't.

Valve needs to work more in this game.
