Lets say, they have optimized this game pretty well. Though it's bottlenecking my i5 3330 but my GTX 950 works mostly
at 80-90% and around 70-80 FPS on competitive settings i.e. (all very low; anti-alias high; view dist. high). Matchmaking is fine as well, though I live in India, no server here, Chinese people in randoms all the time. As a competitor in the Asian market matchmaking is faster than Fortnite and Apex Legends no bots considered that Fortnite Chapter 2 added significant amount of bots and Apex only 40 players in one map. Fine by PUBG. GG

CS:GO Review
to the point-

cons-
matchmaking system sucks
trollish hitboxes
removing bots makes no sense
trust factor system is broken
the ranking system is not clear
many bugs unfixed for years

pros-
one of the best esports game
well balanced gunplay
not pay to win
has a lot of community content like workshop maps, servers, and gamemodes.
decent graphics kept in mind for competitive gameplay
devs try to keep the esports scene well balanced
will run on a potato

basically csgo in its broken state is far better than many other multiplayer games
