After experimenting with a half dozen or so other game engines over the years, I have settled on Godot as my game engine of choice. The interface is fairly straightforward, and the workflow is easy to manage. It's very portable and open source, so you don't get stuck when you run into a bug inside the black box, like I ran into with a previous game engine. And it's free from subscriptions and awkward license agreements.

I love playing local couch multiplayer, and this game is one of the best. It is fast and rewards skill, but it is not very difficult to pick up and learn quickly. Rounds are short, which is great if you have limited time or lots of people to rotate in. There are lots of options to mix things up and keep the game fresh. If you have players that are not very competitive, the co-op mode is also a lot of fun.

Awesome action platformer game, with smooth controls and good humor. Plus it has local 2 player co-op.
