Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a very good game on its own: nice graphics with interesting yellowish shades, an above-average plot with several side-quests and likable gameplay. However, despite the fact that it presents multiple options of achieving certain goals or solving the quests given by NPCs, it still isn't nowhere near as good as the original Deus Ex. There's simply something missing in Human Revolution that's made its first prequel such an extraordinary experience. It could be the plot which doesn't include a ton of conspiracy theories, or it could be the lack of JC Denton's one-liners.
Nonetheless, Human Revolution is still a game worth playing.
