game is superawesome but port is terrible
to get it going had to:
- switch to windowed mode by looking up commandline parameter on web to prevent BSOD on crashes (ther's no option in settings)
- replace ini files with gpu settings to prevent crashing on 2nd stage (can't do in settings)
- manually edit .ini files to fix gamepad controls (can't do in settings)
- hex edit executable to prevent game getting stuck in infinite loop on 3rd stage
so, better wait until it's fixed or costs a dollar

very, very simplistic game
not what you'd expect from trailer
check out Halfway insted, which is both better and cheaper

get it for a dollar or less but don't bother otherwise
it's fun for 10 minutes and that's all there is
single stage arcade shooter for score, which is kinda no fun since leaderboard is clogged with cheaters
options are lacking and controller setup is broken
(read sticky topic on forums - they know its broken but aren't fixing it)

Game: great - sci-fi Devil May Cry with story by Alex Garland (Sunshine, Beach, 28 Days Later, Dredd)
Port: so-so - lack of configuration options / problems with Alt+Tab / unoptimized for PC (needs fast machine)
Verdict: get it on 75% sale

It's very simplistic turn-based squad strategy game.
It's not XCOM or Jagged Alliance.
Closest thing that comes to mind is Rebel Star on ZX Spectrum.
But its nicely done and addictive too.

unplayable due to broken state

Good port of excellent game.
Thers plenty reviews already so i'll just say it's good to see they invested time to port it right.
Too often Console->PC transfers are very direct, just recompilations basically: running slow, with no graphical options, not meant to work with keyboard/mouse.
They did it right this time and at current price of 4 EUR, being cheaper than most low-budget titles, its great value.

I'm not rating game itself - I can not play this game because there is problem with SecuR*M protection - it does not accept activation code provided by STE*M system.
I've contacted SecuR*M, they said it's not their problem and sent me to publisher, which is Capc*m.
I wrote to Capc*m but got no response so far.
That aside, in my opinion sole fact that it has SecuR*M with "5 machine activation limit" is enough to give it a negative review and encourage people not to buy it.
