It's funny. It is very funny, you see, Cornball... until it is not.

In all seriousness, the game is a almost paradoxical blend between Undertale and early 2020 humor. It's perfectly made for the gen Z-esque humor, and even more so for the older and confused. It knows that it's incredibly goofy, and owns it, which makes the experience all the more memorable.
Get ready for loud noises, game and pop-culture references, and IBS, because you've got a long journey ahead!
With many avenues and routes to take on your journey, you get to create a story all about yourself, the player! Would you touch a poop for $100? Would you help pawpaw with his sickness? Will you scour the land for invisible grilled cheese? That's all up to you!

The combat is as you'd expect from something like Undertale. Not much to be said, there! The uniqueness comes from the kind of combat you'll engage in varies from character to character, so always be ready for a gimmick here and there. And this game ain't easy, so keep your guard up!

All in all a great experience, except for one drawback... Munchkins. Ultimately it is worth getting if you're able to keep your computer on expensively, but if you do not have a PC that handles well in long uses, I highly advise against pursuing them. It takes roughly 5 hours for one munchkin, and it's very likely it will not even succeed on your first go. Please keep that in mind. Otherwise, phenomenal game!! :))

"Mmmm... yes... mm oh so many powers!"

While extremely short, this 15 dollar investment was completely worth my time. In this gripping 5 hour long journey, you play as a grumpy monster named Roy who must escort a young Meg back to the surface world, where she wants to return to her mother.

The gameplay is simple, but immersive when needed, and the writing is cute, yet it's encased in this rugged strong language to remind the player the kind of environment the world sets itself up to be.

Extremely touching story with amazing music composed by the now independent sound designer Reo Uratani, who previously worked with the Monster Hunter series. His soulful approach to the soundtrack along with the beautiful motif throughout the game that was then vocalized by Laura Shigihara.

This is a game you do NOT want to miss.

An indie game well worth checking out for checking a lot of monster-taming boxes for me personally. There have been a large influx of games trying to scratch that monster itch and this is absolutely one of them! A great battle system, relatively easy to control, an in-game type effectiveness chart (for pea brains like me), and a well thought out story that doesn't feel overambitious and yet satisfies that old JRPG feel. Sprites are phenomenal, too, and kudos to the artists who worked tirelessly to make them. I like the music, and the "boss" coromon are very challenging and overall have a good level curve to make you think about your next move.

Please play this game if you're looking to find a monster-tamer with thought-provoking turn-based combat! It's a blast!

Ah yes... 100% Orange Juice. A game to behold. It's certainly one of a kind, being that of a Mario Party but instead of minigames, its serious cardplay. It's a wonderous game of strategy and character selection, some being better than others. But beware, for RNG has cursed the game tenfold. A god game, but only for those who gamble! I personally love it, so I gave it a positive rating ^^
