Easily ranks among my most favorite games. Definitely worth it at full price. And when the game and it's DLC are on sale, it's a steal!

Only thing this game needs is better late game performance since many people, including me, experience a gradual slowdown of the game speed with every passing month.

There are thousands upon thousands of amazing mods, ranging from total conversions (like my beloved Old World Blues) to utilities, balance, UI tweaks etc. I don't think I have played this game without at least a handful of mods turned on after my first session.

9.5/10 Totally get it if you like playing around with entire countries, millions of lives and the future of the entire world

Captured and annexed Russia. Russia launches nukes at me after 2 years of being completely annexed. 100/10 would get surprise nuked by my own territory again

This game is simply awesome! Hours of never ending fun, enough islands to go for weeks. Customisable sandbox scenarios, really awesome and funny radio broadcasts... This game has so many ways you can prosper... or die.
