Hats off to the people responsible for this port. I was already impressed by this game 4 years ago when I played it on PS4, but its absolutely breath taking on PC.
Not only that but it's also incredibly optimised. So far my GTX1080 has been able to run this on High at a consistent 120fps and Ultra at 120 with the occasional fps drop.

Just gonna say it.

This game is REALLY fun.
Risk of Rain 1 kinda slipped under my radar with a friend showing it to me about a year ago, and I loved it. The art style was exciting, the gameplay was phenomenal, getting more and more intense as time went on, with an array of completely different classes to cater to different play styles.

And adding that third dimension just enhances everything. Characters and enemies have more personality, with one of my favourite little touches being visible items on the player. The combat is more engaging as you now have to watch all around you.

It's also nice to see that the developers have a plan of where they want this game to go over the next 8 months, and keeping players updated, it shows how passionate they are about this project.

Great fun with the boys, doesn't break the bank, would recommend.
