Improves on all systems from PoE1, makes gameplay slower and more engaging, if you like dodge rolling you'll love it. Big improvement over PoE1 across the board for me.

insanely tight gameplay, very fun, wish it had combo breakers but instead relying on no infinite combos and learning escapes means it's very rewarding to get good at it, now that online has option to use rollback OR delay it lets you pick your poison which is great

dumb fun party game with capacity for deep defensive play, very much recommended though the difficulty curve is a bit steep with how limited/rudimentary the tutorials and training modes are, but it's so fun you look past the flaws

Wouldn't recommend in its current state. The quality of the storytelling in Dawntrail is decidedly subpar with the player character merely being a witness to the events rather than taking part, the gameplay has been feeling rather stale even if encounter design squeezes all it can from the mechanics, and the ability/button bloat across all jobs is rather tedious.

One of the best games of all time, enjoyed almost all bosses and it's amazing how all builds are viable (at least in the base game). Just play it!

Most fun fighting game on the market, hands down. Get it with DLC characters if possible.

Great short game, very tight combat, gripping story littered with Japanese humour, and a very compelling villain relevant to current geopolitical situation.

Amazing story and characters, gripping endings, worth it. Didn't experience many game breaking bugs - only had to reload the game 3 times in over 30hrs. That said if your immersion breaks easily perhaps wait a few more months for more fixes to come out for the smaller issues with the game (mostly the physics engine/clipping).
