I'm mostly and old-school gamer from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras, so I tend to like games that are a call-back to those styles. It's a big reason La-Mulana instantly became one of my favorite games.

I also like fighters, world-building/strategy games, wrestling games (especially the Fire Pro Wrestling series), and various others. My tastes sometimes go into the esoteric.
