This game is great for some co-op fun with friends and family. I don't usually post reviews, but figured I'd post one to counter the bad review someone gave it over VR before disabling their review comments. I guess VR loading is not disabled for this game so if you have a VR headset hooked up, you may have to disconnect it to play. If that's a deal breaker for you, you are the very definition of lazy. If you're experiencing any mysterious weight gain, I think the mystery is solved.

I've owned this game for quite a while and while my playtime isn't necessarily accurate given I'd also owned the previous version and I'm sure I've played more than 1.4 hours on this version, I think this is the best pinball experience you can get without being on an actual machine.

One of my favorite game series of all time. If you haven't played it, buy it now. Don't wait for a sale, just play it.

Great game overall, but all of a sudden my controller stopped working. It works in the game for the most part, but I can't navigate menus for the game nor can I navigate items when interacting with a merchant. I'm not sure what happened, but I can't recommend the game in its current state.

Update. You can fix this problem by going into the Steam settings for controllers and selecting the Xbox configuration, but this seems like an unnecessary step. It was a fun game, so I will recommend it, but this should be fixed.

Lots of fun for old school arcade and NES players. Try it out! =D

I can't recommend this game at this time. The controls are not working for me at all, and the start screen cycles infinitely between starting the game, high scores, and quit. I would blame this on my controller, but my controllers work just fine for any other game. Xbox One compatible Amazon Basics controllers. I can start the game by hitting the B button (of all buttons to map to start a game) when start is highlighted if I time it right, but my character will only move left, is always moving unless I go right to stop him. Completely unplayable at this point.

10 / 10. This game is bad ass. This is the F-Zero successor I've been waiting all my life for. Okay, well not all my life, but a good portion of it. When I was a teenager, F-Zero was the coolest game to blaze to. Now that I'm in my 40s, I'll be blazing a lot to this game. =D

It's a toss up for me on this one. I mean it's free and could prove useful, but the program crashed on png export after going through the tutorial, and well the exported png is branded with the ePic Character name. I'm definitely not going to use assets that are branded in any of my projects so this really doesn't encourage me to buy any items. I'm giving this a thumbs down for these reasons, but will check back to see if the developer responds to any of these issues. I'd be happy to reverse this to a thumbs up if at least the branding was removed. Not sure what I can do about the crash though and am sincerely hoping it doesn't take me through the tutorial again.

EDIT: Ran it again and apparently the crash may have just been a first launch thing which happens sometimes so I can let that go. The watermark given the limited number of assets as well as assets for purchase is a little discouraging, but can apparently be removed with a pro version? Still not sure how I feel about this. Could be a great tool for visual novels, though it seems to be limited to creating portrait png's though so buyer beware. There will be no animated sprites, models, etc. This is simply a character creator that may work well with your own assets or a visual novel.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I mean the game is a fantastic strategy game and I can see if having a lot of potential for multiplayer. My main issue is the AI is terrible. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be able to beat all 5 difficulty levels within my first half hour of playing. I couldn't find any games, but it's also late at night so who knows. A Khet discord channel would be a fantastic idea if one does not already exist.

I used to be very happy with Quake Live. I thought it was a great addition to the Quake library and a fun way to compete with the Quake 3 platform. The fact that they ended Linux support changed that opinion for me. I could see if it was never meant to support Linux, but the fact that they just dropped it, makes me not really want to play it anymore. While, I'm sure I could play it on one of my rigs, I'd rather be able to play on my Linux laptop with an extended monitor without it crashing in Wine. Native support or nothing. Back to Quake 3 for me.
