If you already play Guns of Icarus or even if you don’t, Alliance is a hecka fun addition to GoI Online. It adds some cool PvE mechanics and gives you goal to be striving for: world domination, of course.

The game mechanics can get a bit complex (as with GoI Onlne). I've been around for a little while, and there are many things I don't understand yet. My recommendation is to get a microphone and talk with the community in lobbies and during the matches. The player base tends to be very welcoming and helpful. We want new players to join and feel welcome, so we are more than happy to explain complex bits and support ya’ll where we can.

As a side note: For the full experience, you really wanna be on the official discord for the game and the discord for your faction (if they have one). The lore and speculating on the game and world at large are part of the fun. It also gives you a group to learn from and steal the knowledge off of.

The player base is a bit small (20-70 players online depending on the time), but those that play tend to be active in both matches and in the external discords. A group also puts on regular events/ training classes that are designed to help new and existing players. The Devs also are pretty active in events and matches, so don't let the low numbers discourage you.

Overall, this game is some good fun with some good people. Give it a chance, we’d love to have you fly with us.

I'd recommend if you love puzzels, like reseaching, and have a lot of time to kill. The story isn't anything super unique and I personally find it hard to take seriously, but I enjoy the puzzles and research involved. Overall, a good bit of fun and entertainment.

Can I just say, this game is fantastic. The players have a great sense of humor and, for the most part, are great to be around. And, when they aren't trying to convince rookies that all crew members should switch over to gunners, they are very helpful. One of my favorite things about this game is the fact everyone is on a level playing field. My crew and I have butchered higher level players and yes, we've all been creamed by lower level rookies, but that is what makes this game fun. The art is lovely, the community is a blast, and the game play is a ton of fun. Conclusion: Everyone ought to check this game out.
