Early Access Review
While this game certainly is enjoyable to play, it crashes far too much for me when trying to load into the gameplay - particularly when changing even the slightest of traits, or appearances on your lord or your province's coat of arms in the menu. While I love the concept of a mediaeval city simulation, and is in some fashion similar to RimWorld, I would wait for the game to be further developed before purchasing - and do certainly wish them all the best in their journey.

Personally, I enjoyed Heavy Rain. The atmosphere surrounding the city and the struggles Ethan and company had with saving Shaun were really fun. Pivotal choices which could decide the ending of each character were exhilarating, especially in regards to the five trials Ethan was subjected to. The story is very enjoyable, too! As should be the nature of a narrative game, the murder mystery really sold me on the game. There are a few criticisms I have, however:

Controls on computer feel frustrating at times. Performing a certain action can mean the difference between life and death, and the difficulties of using controls on computer are enough to make you want to step away from the game for a little bit. A scene regarding Madison's pivotal life-or-death moment could've resulted in the character's death as a result of these controls.

The camera angles can also be difficult to manage. You have limited control over the angles you can view your character in, and oftentimes moving to a different room can be disorienting.

Channelling my inner-IGN here with this one: sometimes, the game can feel quite punishing at higher difficulties. Sometimes, in crucial moments, one stuff-up of a QTE can mean the difference between a character being out of the story entirely and you continuing your gameplay experience.

Other than that, it's an enjoyable game. Not certainly deserving of one of the best titles ever made, but a fun enough game to the point that it's worth your money on a sale.

Helldivers 2 is a phenomenal game. First mission I played was excellent fun. The excessive explosions, the gunplay and the enemies all work together like a well-oiled machine, and improves the gaming experience tenfold. The limited microtransactions present are purely cosmetic, and the grand majority of items present are available to you, for completely free.

The community is also excellent, as the positive nature of everyone onboard, and the team effort required to liberate the galaxy from the Terminid menace and those damn Commiebots are very much there.

I live in Australia, so the server issues don't really effect me, and the game experience is fantastic overall. I would cut them some slack when you try to get in though - the last Helldivers had significantly less players at peak than this one. The amount of people playing is completely unprecedented, and Arrowhead are attempting to fix these problems as we speak. While flawed, the developers have an excellent vision and phenomenal transparency.

A solid 9/10 for me.

After Thrones of Decay, I do believe CA has changed their attitude toward how they price their DLC. The options of choosing what you would like to buy, for a reasonable price, is quite acceptable, personally. The game, as always, is very fun and replayable, and as a Dwarf player, I thoroughly enjoy the reworks and new content added - even if it needs a little rebalancing.

An absolutely fantastic game. Or should I say, games? Three games in one, especially when on sale makes Mass Effect Legendary Edition worth it. I hadn't played any of the Mass Effect games prior to this, and I got sucked into the story and the roleplaying of the franchise. The gunplay is also quite nice, if you enjoy cover shooters. Playing as Shepard saving the galaxy is an amazing experience. I'm very glad I hadn't spoiled myself on the story prior.

This game is a lovely addition to the Total War franchise, with the elements of the Warhammer Fantasy setting making it a blast to play. Battles can be incredibly satisfying, and each faction promotes a vastly different play-style to one another, making the game very re-playable.

While this game can be immersive and satisfying, it does have its fair share of problems, with some elements, such as siege battles being a significant downgrade in comparison to other Total War titles, particularly historical ones, and the absence of a fair amount of content if you haven't purchased the base game of the first Total War: Warhammer, being priced the same as Warhammer II.

Other than that, I have no complaints, and is a fantastic game to pick up when on sale.
