This feels more like an activity than a game. The menus are confusing to navigate with a controller and the experience didn't interest me.

The campaign was really good but I finished it in under 7 hours. If you have the opportunity to try this game's campaign I'd recommend it as long as the price is right. I haven't tried the multiplayer because I have too many games to get through.

I had been looking forward to playing this game for a long time. Biding my time and waiting for a discount greater than 50% but eventually I caved in and picked it up at half of. It was sitting at 100% positive reviews at the time so I figured I couldn't go too far wrong.

It's not terrible but it feels unfinished. Some parts are frustrating like moving vaults especially when multiple launchers are involved but that is a relatively minor gripe. My main complaint is that there isn't enough to justify in being good. When it finally feels like the next level might be challenging, it's over. It was so unsatisfying how little content there was. I think there are around 10 missions but half of those felt like they were tutorial missions and none of them felt particularly meaty.

tldr: I was underwhelmed if that's a word

I thought this game would be for me but it is not.

The UI felt unclear and unforgiving. Misclicks can have you return to the menu and lose your progress. Buildings can be close but not quite close enough to form in to larger blocks. It got in to situations where it was unclear how to proceed any further.

Overall, this game has good reviews from other people. Maybe there is something I'm missing.

Each missions in Heat Signature feel like a puzzle. The action can feel hectic while giving you time to think. When you want to ambush guards, the game allows you to speed up time so you don't have to wait long to spring traps.

Characters with particular restrictions bring new challenge and diversity to the game play. One of my most satisfying achievements in the game was completing the person mission of a character who could not buy new equipment and also vowed to never be seen on a mission. It took a lot of planning and care but felt great to finally complete it.

The game balances the programmatic mission and character generation well by allowing you to easily dismiss characters you're not fond of and abort missions that you're not ready for.

I have 40 hours in this game and I'd say that if you're curious enough to read this review, the game is worth your time.

All the negative reviews seem to be focused on bugs. I haven't been affected by anything that has stopped my enjoyment of the game.

So far, I'm really digging this and expect it'll just get better.

So, I ended up running in to a bug that wouldn't load the next story mission. I kept away from the game for about a year because I just couldn't progress. The bug did get fixed and I was able to progress but there were still so many issue.

I had trouble getting a main mission that resulted in me having to sneak/speed run into a room to talk to a NPC before they changed poses because they would literally vanish when they sat down.

One of the main story characters was broken and constantly tried to have two conversations with me at once. In the middle of important narrative the character would interrupt themselves to tell me to hurry up.

I had a bug where I would only get out of cars from the passenger side.

I finished the game because I felt like I had to. I don't think I enjoyed the game all that much after the first few hours.

Stardew Valley is one of my favourite games to play solo or cooperatively with my future wife.

It's stress free and rewarding.

This game is great.

As a versus couch multiplayer game it doesn't feel too confrontational so everyone can get along okay. The difficulty naturally scales well with the skill of the players.

The controls feel good allowing new players to pick up the game quickly.

This is a terrible idea for a game that I can't stop playing.
