Just wanted to say thank you for gifting me Brothers a while back. I finally played it this past weekend, and was absolutely crushed by the end.

I actually wanted the extras for once so I went with the deluxe edition.

Definitely liking Banner Saga! There aren't many games I could really compare it to. It's sort of a lite Oregon Trail with events where you have to make decisions - often tough ones, with no straightforward morality involved. Battles aren't as frequent as expected, which might be a plus. Consequences aren't really clear, which makes it really interesting narratively. I think there are substantial branching paths, but I can't be certain. It's very nice looking, too. I can understand hesitating on it if you didn't preorder/kickstart, though!

Yeah, I kind of prefer going DS alone, but if I ever decide I need a buddy, I might hit you up.

Little Inferno is good, but I might recommend playing while multitasking (easier if you have two monitors). Part of the game pokes fun at the waiting mechanic of "free" facebook games, so that can get tiresome.

Also, since it features so prominently on my profile, I have to mention that I *did* finish the final level of the dark world in SMB, but the achievement didn't pop. So sad. :(

Oh, man, very nice. What first outings do you have in mind for it? I see Dark Souls in your activity feed already. Anything else on the radar?
