This game is a love letter to 2010's shooters. If you have played the golden era of Cod and Battlefield you will feel at home playing Battlebit. It's a mix of Cod's shooting and movement, Battlefield's maps and squad mechanics with Squad-like bleeding and medic system. I wouldn't call it a perfect shooter but it is pretty close to being one. Sometimes this seemingly silly, blocky game makes me feel like I'm playing Battlefield 3 or MW2 again and it's something I've been looking for in shooters for a long time.

I have to say that I didn't expect much from Muse Dash and in fact, I don't even remember where I got this game from. However, by the time I'm writing this review I have played every stage in the game at least once and I have to admit the game is super fun. The stages are really well-done with a lot of creativity put into them, such as button hold swaps, very unique and quirky ways to display the enemies on your screen (Milk! stage, to be precise) and fun rhythms in general. I recommend the game and I think it's a great value for the price. If the stages in the expansion are as well done as they are in the standard version I may end up buying the expansion in the future.

Honestly, gameplay-wise, the valkyrias are, as you would expect, extremely overpowered. While Crymaria is a long-ranged devastation machine, Selvaria is a walking running fortress that will kill even multiple tanks in a single shot and kill every single soldier with a single burst. And on top of that, she has a passive that makes her defense so high she takes 1hp of damage from every enemy attack and she also has a chance to fully restore her hp at the end of a turn (not like it would ever go low, mind you).

So yeah, using these two is basically enabling an easy mode.

Some of my thoughts after clearing the first 3 areas the game let's you play through:
The time manipulation mechanics are really well done and are very fun to play with. Instead of being a gimmick, they are a huge part of the core gameplay. The controls feel very tight and you can't really complain about the general movement. It feels very fluid and adds a lot to the character you play. Animations and pixel art is top tier. The upward knife throw animation is a personal favourite of mine. Bossfights are rather challenging at first but become gradually easier once you recognise the patterns of the bosses. When it comes to the world itself, the backgrounds and the stages look great. My only complaint about what I experienced would be the minimal backtracking simply due to the fact that all enemies respawn once you leave a room. It becomes an annoyance after a while but you can just ignore the enemies and run past them. All in all the game has left a very strong impression on me and I can't wait to play it more. As long as the full game holds up to the level of the demo, this is a game worth looking forward to.

TL;DR
Positives:
+Pixel art, animations, overall graphic design
+Time manipulation mechanics
+Bossfights
+Controls

Negatives:
-Some backtracking is involved

It's a sandbox full of lego-like bricks and physics. Have you ever had a great idea for a spaceship but never had enough bricks to build it as a kid? I did. Now I can do just that but the spaceship can actually fly, turn, rotate, shoot, explode and ram other spaceships I spawned.

Some may say the game does not have a lot of content right now but the dev keeps updating it. I gave this game a chance and I'm not disappointed. I'm really looking forward to future updates.

I really did not expect much from this considering the small price but I have to admit that I am happily surprised. It's a funny little software that makes your desktop background a little more alive. I was expecting some CPU usage issues but much to my surprise there are none (I'm running i5-4460 3.20Ghz).

I totally recommend it, great software!

LiEat is a little gem of low priced games. I was sceptical with buying it at first and the reason I bought was because I liked the art on the previews. For 3 euro you get 3 games, LiEat, LiEat II, LiEat III, each played seperately. You can beat all of them in more or less 5 hours. That's not a lot but it is really worth it. I never really liked games with pixel graphics and rpg elements but LiEat was a great experience for me. The story is interesting, Efi is a great character and the game feels amazing.

Pros:
+Pun in the name of the game
+Efi
+Great artstyle
+Really fitting and atmospheric soundtrack
+Story
+Easy to get achievements

Cons:
-Short, really wish there was more

Seriously, go get it, you won't regret it.

The only game in which you sentence someone to death for performing hit-and-run and you run over 20 pedestrians as you drive away.
