This game is one hell of an adventure. If you are reading this I assume you've completed the first season and you understand that this game is a continuation of the first game.
Being honest, the very first time I was introduced to the game was through YouTube, so playing this game I already knew all the outcomes and possibilities. Even if they were forgotten I would remember everything along the way, but my point is that even though I knew EVERITHING about this game, it still made me directly enter the course of action, be a part of what's happening, to the point where I cried during the ending. And I want to place much emphasis on that because crying was a very big and personal problem with me. I have not cried for 5 years up to that point and I have tried to cry more than 30 times during this time period I believe because I thought that crying refreshes you, really makes you free of all the ♥♥♥♥ you keep inside of you. And this game made me cry. I'll be damned if I ever say anything bad about this masterpiece of a story. Cuz man.. when Kenny was telling Clementine to stay at Wellington.. I felt like he was telling that to me, I felt like I was the one who knew this guy since "the beginning". I was so extremely sad to say goodbye. The scene itself was manufactured so well that I felt like I was a direct part of it. Incredible, just incredible.
I could go on telling you about how characters are really well made and the story arcs make you care, teach you to forget or to blame, to make a choice or to obstain, how the quality of animations skyrocketted in comparison to the first season but I wouldn't. Personal experience with the game is what makes you appreciate it and I know damn well that my personal experience was flawless.

The first time I ever saw this game was when i had been a teenage boy of 13 years. At this time the game made the most positive and surprising impression on me. After I had seen the ending I shed a tear. As well as I believe that was also the last time I have ever cried in my life so this moment has a special amotional connection on me.

After watching Let's Plays of all the seasons I wanted to try this game for myself sometime and here I am, quite some time later. Firstly, the looks of the game. In 2022 they do seem to lose an "effect" that they might have achieved back then but none the less the style of the game and it's colour scheme are still on a very high level. The scenery, all the places that we visit doring the game make us feel a special way relative to the situation. And they do a pretty good job at it. I would even go as far as to say that the only thing that can and sometimes will ruin "the moment" are the animations. They are good, mostly. But I dont have enough fingers on both of my hands combine to show you how many little and big nuances in animation were caught by my eye. And sometimes there are these moments where you expect to see some kind of an animation, like when a character tell's you that they will support you in doing some activity or will search up the place, but nothing happens. I would say that the animations are the biggest downfall to the looks of the game. But, again, mostly they are good enough.

The gameplay itself is not hard and you mainly just have to pick a dialog line. Despite one or two times when the line I picked did not actualy mean what I wanted it to mean or thought it would mean, the dialouges are great. The story line is also very enjoyable, even though there are a cople of plot holes or just weird moments. Playing the game for the first time after I have watched all the possible outcomes and dialouges on the Web still made me feel a special connections to the characters: be angry with some of them, be sad when bad things happen to them, be happy if something went our way et cetera. But, of course, I could not feel that "first time playing" feeling because of the videos. And it's OK, it would be stupid to hope for something like that.

I have anjoyed making my own choices and witness the story "tailor" (as they say themselves) under my way. I recommend anyone who loves a good story to check this game out, playing it themselves is preferable. Have fun!
