A return to the glory days of this series. Great soundtrack, nice graphics upgrade to the current generation, a bit of choice with the aircraft tree and new mission types. All in all a very nice game for returning fans and a great starting game for new fans.

The story was not as strong as AC5 but it was good enough. Aircraft tree was a bit limiting since it felt like there were not enough missions to unlock most aircraft. However it works well as an incentive to replay the games' missions like an old-school spirited game does.
