Hello everyone,

REMINDER: Do not play this game from now on ( 2023 ) if you suffer the following: SADNESS / ANGRINESS / DEPRESSION or any related.
This review comes by myself, a person with anger issues which is trying to have fun on this game and chill at some bad moments in live ( just shut up if you never experienced things like this ).
I'm not really sure when I bought this game first time but at that time everything was different, the players were friendly, team play was a thing, no one was trolling, matchmaking was just fine, valve servers were running fine, no tick issues, no lag, THE CHEATERS were easily banned.
Since the game has been set up to FREE it destroyed everything.
You cannot even play now without having the below:
- a or multiple toxic team member(s);
- a or multiple cheater(s) on the enemy team;
- unbalanced teams ( from my last 100 matchmaking / FACEIT matches probably 10% of them were balanced and I really had fun while playing with my teammates and even the enemy team was nice, even if I lost the game )

Many people can agree on this case because this is happening for everyone.
I have been told numerous times that I need to stop playing this and I never listened and I will continue to play this as I had some fun ( rarely but still ) before, sometimes just having some jokes and some good rounds can give someone a great feeling, some chill / fun times to anyone.

Let's take an example, you are 18+, you come home from work after a bad day and you want to play some CS:GO alone as you do not have anyone in your life to play with, you get a good team, everyone is playing, giving info, having some nice rounds even if yellow is just trying it's best to give info and die randomly. Suddenly, a guy from the other team becomes toxic, disconnects for a minute and then coming back with his wallhack on, his team members are disgusted but he has a friend as a teammate and they can not kick him, he spams the chat with toxic lines and you are able to see them before you enter the console command "cl_mute_enemy_team 1", you get your mood broken and then you are making a mistake then one of your teammates is starts being stressed and at some point toxic as well, you hear some bad words but can not mute him as this will give you a disadvantage in game then you eventually mute him as you can not play with him only talking on the background. Then the team mate destroys the mood of all teammates, one more guy gets toxic as well and tries to fight with him eventually killing each other or anyone in the team in the end getting banned for high team damage. Then, you only have a toxic teammate and 2 others which are mad because you did not land an easy headshot because of a server issue ( let's suppose that in the past you got matchmaking cooldowns for good reasons or you just got angry and you couldn't take it anymore and left ), after you try to explain them how that happened they just got even angrier and they decided to kick you resulting in a 7 days cooldown. Now you just stare at you screen for a moment being angrier than before. You day is ruined and also the feeling that you cannot play for the following 7 days with you not intending this to happen in the first place is really not good for your health.

UPDATES REVIEW:
- With each update the games becomes laggy and this is also affecting the servers.

I really hope VALVE will do something about these things explained above and in the end finally getting a fix for everything.
This is not a competitive game anymore.

If this review gets deleted I will repost it until I get banned on the store page.
The review will remain at "NOT RECOMMENDING THE GAME" until I will change my mind.
Some of you probably do not understand the above so please do not comment any useless stuff ( immaturity check ).

Update: 2023

After a couple of years I still cannot find this game attractive, something that you should spend your time again or invest. Valve decided to throw away CS:GO and open up another buggy / trash game so they can get more attention because their game was dying, why? Because of the community ( cheaters / unbalanced games / toxic players / tryharders ).

The devs are not taking the reviews seriously, I am speaking so the players won't get back or even try it again.

My advice will be:

It's better to find another thing to spend your time into, it's better to get to know people from all around the world maybe by finding another game because the "nice" community will always make you fell the worse because that's what they do and find fun into.

Those being said, I do not regret the 2017-2018 period, it was so much fun, people were different, the cheating community was not that big.

Take a look on the social media and see the "legit cheaters" thingy, it actually started on CS:GO, here, because of Valve.

I won't play this game anymore so I recommend that you, the reader, won't be playing this also.
