Would have enjoyed it more, if I could have played it with a controller from my couch. But still a good ol' puzzle game of turning keys, handles, levers, secret latches and all the other satisfying things.

One of the best story and exploration-driven games ever made. Period.
Mind was blown. Feelings were felt. A narrative to remember for a lifetime.
Flying in space the first couple of times even gave me goosebumps. Played on a controller (which the game itself recommends), and I presume it would be hard-core to play on mouse & keyboard...
As I've seen in other posts/reviews before - this game is perfect in the sense that it knows exactly how much to push your player limits and comfort zone without getting either too frustrating or too easy/boring/repetitive. Each new challenge comes as a challenge, but after it is done you are already prepared and excited for the next one.
Can't yet say if it has much replay value, but going in knowing next to nothing about the game will surely provide a better experience than otherwise.
Would recommend this game to any soul who is even 1% willing to invest in a story.
(Haven't played the DLC yet)

Literally made me re-think how reality can be perceived. The RP elements are so genius. One of the games you wish you could forget - just to experience it for the first time again. The devs deserve so much more recognition and praise, but instead they're getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by ZA/UM. ♥♥♥♥ the bourgeois. Why can't life be fair.

Such a well-crafted game! Wish there were more narratives like this, where you can actually feel the satisfaction of finding the clues and right answers yourself. Too many detective story games hold the player's hand too much or don't give enough freedom of choice for choosing the potential circumstances and outcomes. Not Obra Dinn. Even though the narrative is very specifically linear and the mechanic actions - limited, the journey was very enjoyable and it was exciting to delve into the story and its details. Perfect for puzzle/mystery solvers!
