Bringing the universe of Half-Life into a fresh new perspective (VR) was one of the riskiest moves Valve could've made with it's flagship series. Needless to say, it paid off. The story remains engrossing, the action more high octane than ever, and the world stuns with it's painstaking attention to detail. No VR game has yet to match the magic of Alyx, and if you have a headset, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not purchasing.
