I feel like this is a better version of Wayfinder than the MMO/MMO-lite version.
Could the MMO/MMO-lite version have been fun? Sure, but really the only time that you saw other people was in town.
In the end, you would party up with friends to do dungeons anyway and not random people you find in the open world.
The only thing that could be nice would be the matchmaking, but maybe that should be saved for the raids if those are still in the plan.
Everything else feels better, like gearing, having a talent tree, and finally mounts. Sure, it still needs some performance optimizations, bug fixes, and removal of some leftover MMO/MMO-lite parts, but overall, thumbs up.
