possibly my favorite game i have ever ever played. the way they portray misogyny, sexism, feminism, abuse, suicidal ideation, feeling betrayed by family/friends, the struggles and drama of growing up and your trauma following you into adulthood. it is an absolutely beautiful and horrific game in the best way.

i hated this game so much when it came out 5 years ago and even though i do still think the pacing and overall set up can be very weak at times i've fallen in love with this game after actually playing it myself and looking deeper into the characters. it's helped me be embrace my gayness and *spoilers* i really love that the ending is kind of.. ♥♥♥♥? it just feels very realistic to me, which i feel like we don't see often in games or stories in general. everything is always a happy ending. but there is still so much beauty and rawness to the game and its characters (the ones they actually go in depth on) i can't help but root for it and feel attached. in my head ellie and dina make up and ellie heals from everything ♡

i played this for 3 hours in 2021 and i thought it was the most ass game i'd ever played and i wished i refunded it. fast forward me 2025 im stackin lots of cheese and makin money my grass is really green and honestly i cant even cap rn i'm so addicted and it's made me actually have fun after 4 miserable years of playing valorant, it's different from every other game i've played and it's been so fun learning ♡

if you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc, this will turn into the crash of us. otherwise it is so beautiful even on the lowest settings, and one of the best stories of our generation. ty neil cuckman :prayge:
