I'll stick to Valorant.
Tell me this game was made by a team of guys without telling me...
This game is okay, the art concept is really cool.. but somewhat ugly.
There is really no choice to play as a woman as they are all butchered and have few options than the male characters.
The cosmetics for the guns look good, but expensive micro-transactions.
Game play isn't anything too special, just an influencer who decided to try to make their own version of Valorant.

Honestly, I'm loving Horizon Zero Dawn.

Achievements are easy to achieve throughout the game.
They seem to go along with the main quest with a few side achievements that get done as you go.

The story line is good.
There's a post apocalyptic theme that's mainly just machines taking over versus the regular nuke or zombie in most post apocalyptic settings.
The protagonist, Aloy, is a young woman who is uncovering the mysteries of the world she lives in while helping people she meets along the way.

The voice acting for the main characters isn't bad.
Some of the side quest characters voices don't match and the voice acting is meh.
The linguistics with some can be a little weird given what they're wearing, but with the time period being modern/post-modern it makes sense.

The graphics are incredible and capturing everything in the camera mode has been fantastic.
The camera mode has many different settings from aperture to changing the time of day.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful and they did an amazing job.

Speaking of the scenery, since it's an open world game, the map is huge.
I'm only a little over 50 hours in and am not even half way to completing everything.
There is sooo much to do!

Just like other games in similar categories, there is crafting, exploration, hunting, quests, and combat.
💚 Crafting is pretty basic, it's mainly just crafting ammo which you can do mid-fight.
Other crafting includes modifying weapons & outfits, creating traps & potions, increasing carry capacity, crafting up ammo and fast travel packs (which you can purchase an unlimited one).

💚 With exploration, there are objects you can look for such as vantage points, metal flowers, Banuk figures, and ancient vessels; they are all marked on the map to go find in the area.

💚 Hunting can be done for farming parts to craft or for the hunting quests. Farming for parts is quick and easy if you put down traps.

There are so many quests that vary from main, hunting, side quests, errands, as well as tutorials for more XP. As I was exploring, I'd sometimes just run into the side quests that needed to be completed.

💚 When it comes to combat, it's a little interesting.
Sneaking around and performing melee attacks on the bandits is fun.
Melee is something I use on humans and when I knock down a machine.
Most of the time, I'm using the bow which is recommended.
The handling on the bow varies, quite a bit.
I can be fighting machines with one bow & arrow type and miss even when they're still, but with humans hit head shots.
This is where switching out armour and weapons depending on what you're fighting comes in.
Humans are the easiest to fight whereas some of the larger machines are more difficult in comparison.
The only times I've died are literally from fall damage and just jumping or rolling myself off cliffs.
If I have died to a machine, it would probably be from lack of resources to craft ammo.

💚 As far as mods go, I downloaded a few.
Some aren't compatible with others leaving a black loading screen at the start up.
The mods I downloaded were ones for more inventory space, medicinal flowers giving a higher percentage of health when foraged, and a larger amount for ammo crafting & animal spawns.
I have yet to do one for fall damage, which I really should.

💚 The aesthetic mods (hair, makeup) aren't all the great IMO and I didn't really find a point.
With Aloy's base aesthetic, it makes sense to keep her hair the same colour.
Since it's a third person view unless taking a photo or watching a cut-scene, I didn't modify Aloy at all.
Most of the screenshots I take are scenery, so I remove Aloy from the scene.

Overall, Horizon Zero Dawn has been so much fun.
It's a great game to play between games.

Horizon Zero Dawn would be a good game for gamers that enjoy RPG and cosy games, but also like some action.
I would definitely recommend for Hogwarts Legacy, Skyrim, and players of the like.

TLDR: Horizon Zero Dawn is fun game to play with incredible graphics.
It's definitely a good game to curl up and play.

Once Human is great so far.

The character creation is amazing.
I've never been able to create a character that looks so similarly to me.
Usually, it's all generic Caucasian or Asian features presets without being able to blend the two.

The game play is fun, it's definitely another survival game with quite a lot to do.
There is farming, building, crafting, and killing things to missions as well.
You can also collect little Deviations (pets) that will help in combat, farm, or boost different aspects around your house.

Fighting is fairly easy so far as well, just make sure you craft enough ammo.
PvE has been a lot of fun and having the option for PvP once hitting level 10 is great.
I haven't tried PvP yet, but am interested to see what it entails.
As far as PvE goes, there's a lot of different entities to kill as well as bosses in dungeons.

The building isn't too bad, it does take a little while to get use to and it's not as fast as other games.
A lot of games require you to build a new base across the map, but Once Human allows you to not only move your base, but save the layout (blueprint) as well.
Building isn't as fast either, there are restrictions to how quickly you can put something down.

Solo game play is doable which I like, but I would like to see how it is with others.

TLDR: Character creation is great.

After the update, I lag a lot which is crazy considering my specs and the fact I have a 5k build.

Hogwarts Legacy has been fun.

I completed the full game before the update in 111 hours.

Achievements were easy to achieve throughout the game.
Currently, I'm working on getting the house achievements for the other 3 houses.

Speaking of the houses, Hogwarts Legacy did a great job creating all of them and only allowing access if you're of that house.

When I was playing, I decided to explore and grab all the Floo Flames, do the little things, and all of the Merlin Trials so I could focus on the main story.

The story line is good, it's like a side quest of Harry Potter.
I was never a super huge fan of HP, but have seen the movies.

All of Hogwarts was done very well and I was surprised when I first played.
There was quite a lot of details and little things.

Graphics are good, I'm glad they added a camera mode because it was needed.
Some of the scenery is really pretty.

Gameplay was a lot of fun, I did download a mod for flying control.
This made it a lot easier and more intuitive.
Fighting was super easy as well and a beginner could definitely pick this game up.

There is a lot to do from exploring, fighting, Merlin Trials, making potions, decorating, taking care of animals, etc.
All these little things made the game nice and allowed me to take breaks from quests and whatever else.

TLDR: Overall, I'd say this game is good if you like stories with more immersive interaction.
It's definitely a good cosy game to curl up and play.

Side Note: I understand why the author who wrote the HP books picked weird names given the target audience.. but I was questioning why "Hogwarts" during the game, that sounds disgusting.

Super easy achievements.
It took me a little over 1.5 hours to complete, part of it I was AFK.

The controls aren't good and take a while to get use to.. if that.

Would I pay for this game? Honestly, no.
I actually got this as a part of a cosy game bundle from Humble Bundle.

The art style is decent.

As far as the story, it wasn't too interesting.. but it's short and sweet.
I got through 2 of them before I turned off the voice over and decided to start speed reading.
It was nice to have the option to turn off instead of having to listen to the narration.

Assemble with Care reminded me of an interactive children's story book, not even a visual novel.

The story is about Maria and she's fixing things around a town while traveling.
She's mainly fixing for just for 2 families, the mayor & his daughter and a café owner.
Throughout the story, she mentions her parents and almost hints towards how she'd like to fix things between them.

The voice over was decent, it just felt like a normal person reading it.
The extra sounds like walking or doors opening were a nice touch.
The background music was nothing special, a lot of it felt like it was created in a sound design class.

I was actually surprised that an actual studio made this and not a bunch of students.

Overall, it's good for a one and done, speed run for achievements.

Update: Honestly, I hate this game.
It's frustrating, gives me anxiety, and people... ugh.
I'm only playing for the achievements..
And now the battlepass because it had a kitsune in it.
They got me with that one. Please send help.

There's something about DBD.. it's not the killers.

Although, the fan base is a little thirsty..
for Ghost Face and Pyramid Head, I'll let it pass.

But the wildest hear me out I heard recently was for..
The Dredge.
Please, go get therapy.

⋆༺𓆩⟡𓆪💀𓆩⟡𓆪༻⋆。
In all seriousness, DBD is a fun game.

Not much of a horror game imo,
but occasionally has jump scares.

Killers can be fun or lame.
Shout out to all the chill killers.
The killers who have no chill, no comment.

Update - Hunt: Showdown 1896

The graphics are an amazing update.
And the new map? They did a great job.
I love it, it's definitely giving Wild West, Colorado meowtains and mining towns.

The UI is something that will take getting use to compared to the old one.
I do think that the perks should be a little larger because all of them bunched up together feels a little overwhelming.
I love that they made it controller friendly because they made it more hotkey friendly as well which is great.

The events are always exciting and fun.
Crytek doesn't push out battle passes or skins every other week unlike other games.
Since they don't do that, you can actually have time to play other games or enjoy life.

If you do decide to no life between events, you can continuing earning Blood Bonds.
This allows you to get the battlepass for free when the next event comes.

The first time I played (2021), I was in a trio with 2 friends who were also brand new.
We didn't have very much fun and had no clue what was going on.

After playing with a friend last year, I still had no clue what was going on.
It wasn't until after watching this friend play, I started to grasp the game play.

I decided to give Hunt another chance, there was a slight learning curve at first.
This game has been a lot of fun and different to ones in similar categories.

Achievements are easy enough to obtain.

。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。

Good game for easy achievements.
The free DLC isn't required to get all achievements.

Game play is just really easy puzzles.
There is a button (T) that'll just solve the puzzle for you.

The character design is cute and the art quality is good.
They are a little lewd and the safe version has pieces blurred out.

I recommend playing with the music and sound off.
The music is looped and not very good.
As for the sound, it's a little much.

。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。

The 18+ content..
I wasn't expecting the: rock, paper, scissors to nudity.
As soon as I realised that the DLC was downloaded, I uninstalled.
