This game makes me feel bad. And that's why it's good. Very rarely had a game make me feel so much emotion. The first time my squadron of cops got wiped out, I felt horrible. I went to work the next day, recruited some new officers, still mourning the loss of some of my finest men.

Every choice weighs on you. This game is a great experience.

Also, amazing soundtrack. This game single handedly got me into jazz.

I've been looking for ages for a baseball game to play on the computer, ever since I've discovered my love for the sport.

I was fairly disappointed when I saw there were very few options available. Luckily, Out of the Park Baseball is the best of them, particularly OOTP 17.

Licensed by the MLB, it has all of the players and teams you know (or don't know, if you're a new fan), including international leagues, even independent ones! Just today I heard Manny Ramirez got signed to a japanese team I only know exists thanks to this game.

As for the gameplay, I find it a bit difficult because I'm just so new to the series. It's fairly intuitive, but I've struggled getting it right. I got squashed on my first match. Luckily there's an option to let the AI play for you while you just manage the team, acquiring free agents, picking lineups, that sort of thing. The menus are a bit hard to navigate and if you're allergic to spreadsheets maybe avoid this game, because it's most of what you'll be looking at most of the time, but it still manages to be a fun management simulation game.

So if you're the kind of crazy nut that actually enjoys this sort of game and the sport of baseball, wait not one more second, it's worth every penny.

This is the kind of game you love to hate.
This is probably one of my favorite games of all time, and yet whenever I stop to think about it, I realize that I absolutely hate playing through at least three quarters of it. There are areas in the game I simply loathe. And yet, I can't stop playing this. Dark Souls hooks you in and when you're in, there's no going out. Once your soul goes Dark it never goes back.
That being said, a good controller and a ton of patience are required. It is possible to go through without either, but why would you? The game is designed for controller, so play it on controller. And the game is designed through trial and error, so be patient. Anyone can beat it if they try hard enough. Just don't give up and praise the sun! \[T]/

The most beautiful pool game you will ever see.
There is so much detail, you can see the reflection of the room in the balls when it closes up, it is amazing. Worth purchasing as eye candy alone.
But that's not all, the game offers a TON of content to boot. Dozens of decals, cues, ball sets, single player tournaments, multiplayer, this game has hours upon hours of fun.
My only gripe with it is that steam achievements aren't working properly for some reason. Other than that, I can recommend it to anyone.

An amazing strategy game, recommended to both casual and hardcore strategy players. It is easy enough to pick up and play without having to read tons of instruction manuals (although having some previous knowledge helps a lot) and at the same time it has complex mechanics that will keep the hardcore gamers entertained. Flawless multiplayer system that doesn't feel too slow nor too quick, although sometimes it feels like a watered down version of the single player campaigns. Overall a ton of fun to play, it gets old pretty quickly, it can be boring to play for too long and matches take a while to finish (I have never had a game that lasted less than 5 hours, I generally can't finish a match in one sitting) but that doesn't take away from how good the game is.
The expansions add a lot to the game, so it's definitely worth it to buy the Gold Edition and Brave New World, the new expansion. The DLC is really good and doesn't feel tacked on. All in all, a great game.
