Very highly recommend this game for people who grind a lot and are willing to spend a lot of time on this game. Has amazing graphics, physics work how it should going 1000x the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ speed of light, combat is fluid and fun, exploration is satisfying, the sheer scale of a 1:1 simulation of our galaxy is wonderous, every planet (you need to dlc to land on them) is unique in its own way, and the way humans are portrayed as the only intelligent species in the galaxy is quite unsettling to the point we question stuff like the fermi paradox. 10/10 on all of these regards. Trés bien Frontier ! Je recommand fortment !

It saddens me to rate this game badly when it had so much promise, but I have to. Now the game has good aspects. Firstly, the game has a beautiful map, definitely the first paradox map to actually be enjoyable to stare at (it also is good its a freaking globe for once). Second, the game is map painty akin to HOI4, while not as fun as HOI4 its still enjoyable. Thirdly, the map has alot of research put into it, considering Paradox's last big game was set only 80 years ago and doesnt have an accurate map. And lastly, the game has an enjoyable multiplayer experience. Now the bad stuff. Firstly, the game is a bare wasteland. Not much to do in terms of Forming nations, restoring past empires, or anything like full world conquest. I may have just praised it for being map painty, I want a map painty game with flavor, which IR sadly lacks. Secondly, the mana system has no use anymore and basically limits alot in this game. Compared to EU4 (where mana is actually useful and not COMPLETELY annoying) this games mana blocks so much if you are missing a huge sum for most things in the game as everything is expensive, you barely gain the stuff at a fast rate, and its overall outdated in the more modern paradox format. Thirdly, the game's stability makes me want to wretch up everything i ate in my no life fat diet for lunch. The game doesnt crash for me, but the game gives me no frames at 5 speed and it studders more then I do in a class presentation. And lastly, the thing I hate the most in this game, the UI looks absolutely...well horrible. I've seen better icons in HOI4 mods for the buttons, and its dull color scheme makes me question reality. In short, is the game overall enjoyable? Well if you dont care for flavor, UI, stability, useless mechanics, or the somewhat questionable DLCs paradox will probably add, then Yes,very much so. If you care for some of it, then its probably enjoyable everyonce in a while. But if you care for all of these things, like I do, then absolutely not at a 40$ price tag + all the DLCs in the future. This is the first time I've harbored mixed views of a paradox game. Good Day. Bienvenue en Paradox.. (as of May 2nd 2019, the studdering has mostly been fixed and the UI has been scaled back, which definitely raised my rating of this game, although I still wouldnt recommend this.)

Overall, this game has made a comeback. All the horrible mechanics have been replaced with mechanics that while they're not perfect, they are alot better then what used to be. This game actually feels FUN to play for once. Anybody who hasn't played it in a while I recommend go back to play it.

Now look. This game is a roller coaster of opinion. The dlc policy of Paradox is sometimes garbo. Some of the mechanics that are essential such as Lend-Lease and most of the New naval stuff being hid behind a paywall is stupid. But overall, this game as so much content and is a very enjoyable game. The modding community can either ruin it or make it really good. Memes aside, this game gave me enjoyment throughout most of 2018. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy other paradox games.

So, finally.

As you see on this game, 98% of reviews are positive. I never wanted to bother making a review because, well by my amount of hours you probably know I've sunken my life an soul into this game.

So here we go. I personally think that this game is one of the few games I have ever played that is one and truly perfect. The only negatives of this game in my eyes are so insignificant. One issue is the fact that the game's "economy" is pretty basic, and therefore extremely exploitable to where you farm 20 of the same boss and boom 5 platinum coins in like 30 minutes. But honestly, that's the only gripe I have with the game.

The fundamental core of the game is so flawlessy executed. Open world games with survival aspect are my favorite genre of video games, and Terraria, in my opinion, does that genre the best in the entire gaming industry (yes even Minecraft).
The gameplay mechanics are simple, yet make the whole experience seem endless. The replay ability of this game is so damned high. Not only can you do the game in Normal mode, you can do it in Expert mode. Think it's too easy like me? Limit yourself with challenges, limiting yourself to a certain class or weapon type, limit the amount of hp you're allowed to get, limit what you can use. That not enough? There's the multiplayer, which is overall a great experience, granted a bit laggy sometimes. That replay ability is what let me sink 0.3 years into this game. The weapons are so fun to use, with 4 different main classes and endless amounts of sub-types and sub-classes. Every boss, some of them albeit easy, is unique, especially in Expert mode, where most of them get signicantly harder and have 1 or even 2 new abilities. Exploration is incredibly fun, finding crazy world generation anamolies like a massive cliff that goes into the underground then suddenly rises back up. Biomes are numerous and diverse, from the beauty of the overworld to the literal depths of hell, to the mystical hallowed biome to the ever so evil crimson/corruption, and the dunes of the sand and temples of the jungle. NPCs are a bit goofy, but can defend themselves against mobs, and provide you with necessities ranging from giving modifier to your weapons, to selling herbs and plants, to guns and bullets and bombs for exploration, and of course who could forget the guide, the person who has infinite knowledge of every reciepe in the game while housing the boss of the Wall of Flesh, who introduces you to hardmode, the second half of terraria. Enemies become harder, new ones appear, new ores and materials to make insanely powerful weapons, new biomes like the hallowed and underground crimson/corruption, and the best and most fun boss fights in the game.

I could keep going, but I honestly think I have said enough.
Terraria and Re-Logic, I would like to thank you for all the incredible fun and joy I've had playing this. Terraria will go down as one of the best video games in PC gaming, hell all of gaming if you ask me. Crazy that a pandemic needed to happen for me to truly appreciate this game and the people behind it.

C'est tout Re-Logic , merci beaucoup pour Terraria .
