This was charming and cute. There is no automation. But it has 5 tiers of clicking on things that build up parallel to progression. At the end there's a victory lap that'll take you back through all 5 things. You can just vibes your way through the game, I did over 5 hours. You can probably math out a path that gets you through in 1 hr or so. Nice lil game

Today I just got my 30 day achievement. I also set up my final machine that will get me to Victory State. It was a nice and cozy idle game. The math tricks involved are paced out reasonably well. It seems like there is space to optimize and speedrun. I enjoyed the casual solution of making numbers go up everywhere on days where I did not want to think hard. I currently feel like a galaxy brained genius after using all the Purple Diamonds to get Gold Coins to buy Town XP Percentage to feed into my main town for this final sprint to level 50. There is a range of effortful thought asked of the player.

I would say this game uses similar math tricks as Orb of Creation. The pace is like a month of Melvor, I highly encourage using some your first Gold Coins on a few Idle Tokens that zoom time forward. There are moments in this game where you set up something big that will take a while and the best solution is to just let time move forward while your pyramid of champaign glasses flow into each other. By the time I post review I should have generated enough Idle Tokens to see that sweet sweet win screen.

Finally closed my murder vacation in Montana. Typing this as the ending cutscenes are going. It feels like how I felt when I first watched Layer Cake. The boss fight was nice and everything was almost wrapped up. The fight was thematically hoorah, then... the writer/director/creater told me to "hold on real quick, lemmie piss in your cereal" and punched me in the gut. Imma give it the Layer Cake treatment of pretending the movie ends at the exact frame where it feels right and happy.

This was a fine Farcry. Story notwithstanding. I was spoiled in the broad strokes and I will say that this ending conundrum does present an interesting way to approach the game. Like any vacaction, it is tough to want it to end. I approached going through the ending like how I approach going through customs in an airport. On auto pilot, submissively pressing the buttons in a the most expedient way possible with no joy, knowing that I HAVE to do this before I rightclicked the uninstall button. It was a joy fishing, it was a joy clearing outposts, it was a joy petting Cheeseburger, and it was a joy to plug ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my SOLID G O L D AK47. Moment to moment this game was filled with Joy, Farcry 5 was a fine vacation, but I don't think I'll go to Montana again.
