I wish there is a neutral option for game recommendations, but it's either you love it or you hate it.

It's starting to get really repetitive to have yearly separate releases of the game that is almost barely changed in terms of graphics and leaving the old editions to die instead of just updating the previous games under one roof (like Train Sim Classic), not to mention the prices are getting more and more absurdly expensive every year.

Would I buy it? Probably not right now. (Wait until it's on sale) Would I take the free starter pack? While you can, yes, and I'm glad they did this since you can get your old routes from old TSWs if you bought them previously without having to pay for the standard. Hopefully this will be a standard going forward.

I love DT. They make really good train simulators since TSC, but ever since they were acquired by Focus, my morale for the series just went downhill ever since.

I think it's safe to say that I can edit my review just because Valve is finally stepping in and doing something for once. Even though I haven't played much Casual, most not all of them are finally vanished of cheaters and bots. Thank goodness Valve did something for once. However, until this game becomes a lot more stable again, I would rather not spend any money at the moment until we say "The game is fine now."

A problem for over 4 years finally getting resolved in a timely matter, but let's not have our guard down just because the bots are gone. We still have some more work to do before we can call it good.

I haven't played much casual knowing of the bot crisis, but now it's getting REALLY out of hand, including to the fact the malicious bot hosters are doing literally ILLEGAL things to many that try to oppose them. And the years of neglect from Valve is just obscured as hell. All the care are microtransactions, microtransactions, and microtransactions and focusing on their other successful games, like Counter-Strike 2, or their upcoming Deadlock. Nothing more, nothing less. Just money and success from their other products.

When #savetf2 went around 2 years ago, Valve did something, but not enough to satisfy our expectations. We need Valve to step in and do their job. Fix your game, or the game is going to rot to hell.
