After playing for a NICE number of hours ;), I can say this game is like playing Overcooked, but offers you (and your friends) far more control over how well (or poorly) organized your restaurant is. Definitely recommend if you need a little controlled chaos in your life.

Super fun puzzle game if you need to spend a couple hours doing nothing more than matching shapes & looking for patterns. The randomness can get frustrating at times, as you'll end up losing just before almost breaking that record or meeting your goal, but that's part of what keeps it feeling like a challenge. Would recommend this to anyone needing to kill some time relaxing over a mindlessly entertaining game.

*** DO NOT PURCHASE ***
Review may be removed when a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Since the latest update, the game no longer starts for many people using either the new or legacy launcher. Both launchers will open fine in most cases, and when you hit play using either Dx9 or Dx11 the CivilizationV.exe binary will open, but only for a split second. It's essentially silently crashing or exiting without any form of log or useful troubleshooting information.

Firaxis and 2K games have effectively altered the originally working game as it was delivered to me upon purchase. I'm well aware of how updates can alter the funtcionality of a piece of software, and in fact welcome updates that bring new features or provide bugfixes. However, what I do not welcome is the inability to revert to prior versions on the Steam platform, which would be especially userful in situations like this where a product is rendered inoperable due to a botched update.

I will no longer be spending any money on 2K or Firaxis titles, nor will I be purchasing anything from Steam until this issue is resolved, or I receive a full refund, whichever comes first, as Civ 5 truly is one of my favorite turn-based strategy games to play with friends while drinking a rich, dark beer or coffee.

Cities: Skylines has the potential to become the next Garry's Mod of Steam Workshop assets. I've played plenty of hours on older SimCity titles, none of which offered the depth and customization that this game does with mods installed. Colossal Order has outdone themselves in creating what is possibly the most complete city simulator ever released, even if the game has weird traffic oddities and many limitations without mods being installed. Once the mods are there though, I just cannot put this game down!

Rocket League brings a whole new light to classic European Football, or Soccer as Americans call it. This game provides hours of rocket boosting fun for up to 6 friends, and a great competitive play mode alone or with up to 3 friends. Graphics are much improved from the prequel a few years back, yet they have not compromised the original feeling of gameplay.

In recent updates, players have become overwhelmingly toxic when it comes to teamwork. Most games play well enough, but if you're down just 1 or 2 points in the first 30-45 seconds of a game, expect your teammates to quit out or start trash talking you. However, if you can look past this, you're in for a good time.
