This game is simply cute and fun, and if you like metroidvanias, it will scratch that exact itch. The movement and combat feel very tight and responsive.

Minor issues: Unfinshed NPC stuff, Defeating bosses does not communicate what's going on with your sword, only visually explains that "something" happened.

Big issue: Originality, even for a metroidvania.. yes, this genre inherently borrows from itself - core mechanics, themes, ambiance, map layout etc., but I have played a lot of Hollow Knight, and it's doing a little more than borrowing in every micro and macro way. I would say it starts to hit you more around near the end when you see the Deepnest level in particular. When Hollow Knight borrowed from series before it, the sum of it's parts created something new and refreshing. This does not accomplish that.

Either way, very fun game, had a good Sunday playing through it! I would recommend buying this game because genuinely, I just had a fun time playing it and it's really simple as that.

This game is a dream come true

This game is so, so, so, fun and intricate. I will probably continue to play this game for a very long time. This game is absolutely enjoyed though - with friends. Multiplayer/LAN, however you want to do it, find friends to play this game with and you will find the joys similar to the old giants of nostalgic multiplayer fun.
