first impressions of this game was horrible. no login bonus, no item shop and not even a loadout menu. all i was greeted with was a boring pov interface with the menu buttons. there was no hint system so i had to look up a guide on how to navigate the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu. no ranked games, so i have to deal with sweats in casual but the only gamemode i found was "campaign", whatever that is. no capture the flag, no deathmatch, not even a battle royale, like wtf is even the point in playing this game. graphics were really bad and i couldnt find the options for enabling ray tracing and dlss, so i had to play the game at ♥♥♥♥ quality. there was no way to select characters so i had to spawn as artyom, even tho i had nothing unlocked on him. i couldnt even find a guide on what skills to equip, only what guns to run. there was no vaulting, sprinting was slow and there wasnt even an option to slide, like how tf do people even play ♥♥♥♥ like this????

i bought this game to play the campaign, and truth be told, this was really terrible. i am not gonna say its the worst, but i will call it out for what it is. to list off some minor inconveniences i have with the game; the fov slider doesnt do anything in the campaign, so you have to download a 3rd party software to change it. secondly is the weapon unlock system that just conditions you to get as many points as possible instead of actually being immersed and having fun. as for the actual story, it might be the biggest pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever to have been concieved in a professional setting. it is basically a weird extension of battlefield 3's interstellar campaign, but they cameo old characters just to kill them off for no reason. the plot doesnt make sense, the gameplay feels gummy, the game is riddled with visual bugs, the guns are all the same and the scopes are so terrible that i just picked the guns with ironsights. in conclusion, if you love the battlefield series, then sure, buy it. but if you want an actually immersive fps campaign, just spring for battlefield 3, call of duty advanced warfare or any half-life game.
