It doesn't scale well, very rapidly gets to the point where you get one hit killed by even trash mobs so it's not very fun in the long term. Getting the ten bosses in a run, even starting on the lowest difficulty you will likely need to burst or no hit the final two or three. I think it's a neat concept but doesn't fit the way remnant was designed.

I'm sure Red mentioned this; but try diversifying loadouts. Vortex is a meta pick but far from the best option in many situations, especially when you have no main oppressor like Red or myself did; we traded backlining and frontlining and swapped our loadouts to match. Add me if you want and we can play sometime.
