1. Never go all in
You may be able to get lucky going all in once or twice, but you can't keep getting lucky forever. Just one loss and you're out of the betting game.

2. Try not to bet on BO1s
BO1s can go either way, and underdogs win constantly. The map pick can also sometimes be odd, for instance a heavily CT sided map like Nuke. Sometimes they can be good for low/ICB bets on the underdog though.

3. Don't bet on the first day of LANs, especially BO1 matches
You never know how a team will play at a LAN until you see their first few matches, and teams who are normally very good can play badly, and vice versa. Sometimes matches like this are good for low/ICB bets on the underdogs though.
